eMarie - Boutique Nail Salon - Forsyth Park — Local services in Savannah

I would like to preface this review by saying how excited I was for a higher-end, aesthetically pleasing, spa-like nail salon to open in Savannah. I’d also like to note that I am a very loyal customer, when I like something I love it, I go all the time, and I tell all my friends about it too. Unfortunately, eMarie has now disappointed me twice in a row with extremely poor customer service.

Situation #1: I made an appointment with eMarie online and I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment. They told me it would be about 15 minutes. After waiting thirty minutes after my scheduled appointment, I had to pick up my son from daycare so I left. I was incredibly annoyed as I felt like they knew it would be a longer wait (even though I had made an appointment), but they just wanted my business so told me it would be sooner to effectively trap me. This demonstrated they have zero value for their customers' time.

Situation #2 (the second chance): I made an appointment for 10am for a regular manicure, arrived at 10am and there were three people with appointments for 10am and two employees. I let them know I have a three-week-old newborn baby at home and that I made an appointment so that I didn't have to wait and could get back home as soon as possible. At 10:10 the employee started my nails and then after 10 minutes in the middle of the appointment she disappeared. After waiting 10 minutes for her to return, I went to see what was going on and the same technician had started a pedicure for another woman who had an appointment. I guess she was planning on doing both of us. Anyways I got up and left, told the lady at the front who didn’t seem to care, and went to Posh on victory and they had me in and out...

So I was very happy with my nails until I went to a different salon and realized the tech at emarie totally lied to me. So I booked an appointment for dip on my natural nails. I have never done dip before so I wasn't totally sure about the process but I knew that you literally just dip your finger into the powder. So I get there and say I have an appointment for dip. I talk to the girl about how I used to do acrylic but I hated the way it made my natural nails and I did not want to do acrylic ever again. So there were multiple conversations where I said I wanted dip. So she started doing my nails and takes a brush and dips it in the liquid and then into the powder. Again, I have never gotten dip so in my head I'm like "well maybe this is just another way to apply it, and they don't dip your finger because it's unhygienic or something." So I didn't say anything about it. At the end of the service I again asked a question like "so just so I know for next time can I get designs on top of the dip." And the girl said yeah of course. So there is ZERO question that what I wanted was dip. Well today I went to a different salon to get my nails done and I tell the tech that I have dip and so she starts soaking my nails. She checks on them and goes "this is 100% acrylic, dip does not come off like this." I was literally in shock. And I was next to my friend who was also getting her dip soaked off and her nails looked nothing like mine. I should have gotten photos to post but I didn't. So yeah the nail tech at emarie just used acrylic on me after me stating that I didn't want acrylic probably 5 times. For sure not...

I had an absolutely outstanding experience at eMarie.From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for an exceptional service, my husband booked me an appointment for my birthday and I'm glad that he found this salon.

The customer service at this salon is truly top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my visit. They took the time to listen to my preferences and made sure to tailor their services accordingly. The attention to detail was remarkable.

The nail technicians at eMarie salon are true artists in their craft. They demonstrated a high level of skill and precision, leaving my nails looking flawless. The range of nail services they offer is impressive, and they use only top-quality products, ensuring long-lasting results.

What also stood out to me was the salon's impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards. It's clear that they prioritize the safety and well-being of their customers.

Overall, my experience at eMarie Salon exceeded my expectations in every way.
