This was our second time here and our last. The first time was the day they had a grand opening and tho the food was ok the service was very slow which I put off to just opening day problems which I thought would improve in time but no. We were in a party of 11 people and wanted to be seated together. A man who said he was the owner put us in an area and had us put tables together. This is a job for the staff and not the customers. The staff brought out food as it was ready, didn't know who ordered what and left right away after putting the plates of the table. We had some questions and called to them but no one came back to us except for one time when I had to raise my voice to get their attention. It seems like they just did not want to be bothered. it was surely minimal effort. I noticed this the first time as well.
Then the bill came and here is where we decided to never return. It was $197.00 and some change. The waiter said just give $197.00 even so I paid in cash that exact amount. I left to get the car and the waiter came back and said it was one dollar short. Yes one dollar even though he got what he asked for so for one dollar on top of a nearly $200.00 bill. One in our party paid that amount.
Sorry folks but I can't believe how poorly this practice was and our party of will never go back. You just lost 11 customers over one...

Food: Average, Overpriced, and the menu item I actually wanted was “out of stock”, like the Paneer Khaati Roll. … how y’all gonna be out of stock on that dish it’s world famous. Anyways, it’s ok not worth paying $70 + Tip for a 3 person meal.
Room for improvement.
Service: Lackluster, the homie didn’t bring a simple Beverage of fresh lemon soda to me until I legit had to get up out my seat and ask him about the status of the Soda (4 times.) and only to get my soda after I got all my other dishes … thanks for the desert soda I guess - I still paid FULL price for everything and given the delay of the $3 soda dude didn’t even offer to give it to me for free given it was their fault not mine.
-Average Service, room for improvement.
Atmosphere: Decent and probably the best thing I can say about this place but I mean you’re using the inside of a formerly known Legendary Ricardo’s Restaurant so the atmosphere better be 5 star and thankfully it was.
Overall: Skip it unless improvements are made, not worth the hype at this time and I may go back after a few months so they have time to straighten this out to a 5 star experience.
Rock on my friends, I am hard to please but...
Read moreMy visit to Bikanervala today was thoroughly disappointing. After being told there was a wait for dine-in, I opted for a takeout order—only to stand in line for 15 minutes just to place it. What struck me most was the disrespectful behavior of the counter staff, especially the man in round spectacles. Not only was he openly rude to his own team, speaking to them as if they were beneath him, but his manner towards customers was just as dismissive. When I tried ordering Raj Kachori and Papdi Chaat, he cut me off abruptly, said they were “on hold,” and refused to take my order in a curt, unfriendly manner. There was no explanation, just a cold rejection, making me feel unwelcome and ignored for no reason. It’s one thing to encounter slow service during a busy time, but another entirely to be treated with such lack of respect, especially when I was willing to pay for my food. Compared to other places I’ve been, the service here was deeply unsatisfactory—marked by a sense of indifference and disregard for customers. If this continues, I doubt Bikanervala will keep its doors open for long. A disappointing experience that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone expecting even...
