V and Jordan Worked the bar greeted us and made sure that our tables needs were attended to. They also crafted the drinks that our table ordered, which were A Tennessee lit a strawberry watermelon margarita X 2 Because they were just that good As well as a Caribbean lit Our table also ordered the boneless wings appetizer, which were very good and were of a very generous size. I was impressed. We also ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich as well as The pretzel dogs And the fire salmon all of the food was absolutely delicious my compliments to the chef who unfortunately name I did not get, but I hope that upper management will see this review and give him my compliments.
Went down to the first floor to register the car to the app which I just downloaded and we were greeted by Chris Lucas Tech at the winner circle. He was extremely helpful and gave lots of helpful tips and useful advice. Is a very hard worker as well as later on in the video shoots, he can be seen wiping down all the machines very diligently. When Chris had moved on to carry out his other duties, I was also helped by Megan and Nijah at Winners these ladies were the definition of professionalism they were so sweet, kind and super friendly above all with a willingness to help which speaks a lot about their character.
To be completely honest, I can’t even begin to say enough nice things about this place. It was super clean everyone there was a hard worker and just went above and beyond. I mean, they were truly setting the bar for excellence when it comes to regards to customer service. May God bless you all for your willingness to help and reflecting Chris like character loving your neighbor as you love yourself...
Read moreI am writing this review for the family budget-conscious reader. I am comparing Dave & Buster's in Schaumburg, IL., Main Event in Hoffman Estates, IL., Enterrium in Woodfield Mall, Velocity Esports in Woodfield Mall and Chuck E. Cheese in Streamwood, IL.
Game Variety: ⭐⭐⭐ Tons of games and all new, but the number of tables eat up most of Dave & Buster's. They have always been known to lean more toward the adult clientele than kid clientele, but this had to be the most I have ever seen eaten up by food tables.
Reward Shop: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very ticket affordable and great prizes for the tickets. I like my children leaving with something, after emptying out my pockets and usually, they do. Even if it is a small rubber ball or piece of candy. Not to mention, you can use your tickets on food. Too cool!
Cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place is brand new, so the bathrooms better be clean. Dave & Buster's and Main Event have the cleanest bathrooms.
Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Except for Enterrium, which has an awesome food court outside its doors, Dave & Buster's rocks the food charts. It is not Cheesecake Factory, but as far as arcade food, Dave & Buster's wins!
Customer Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+ I ask staff for help just to write these reviews. Super Friendly!!!! SUPER FRIENDLY!!! One game malfunctioned and they gave my kids free games. Yes, Customer Service!!! Main Event take notes!
Budget-friendly: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It cost us $26 and you have to be careful to not pick the high point games. I like my kids to see that they spent 56 of their 140 points on playing Halo for 7-8 minutes, when they played air hockey for 8 points for about the same time. It teaches them to learn to budget. One big positive is their pool tables are $8 for an hour. That is awesome!
Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dave & Buster's is awesome and brand NEW. We would need to revisit during a busier time and hopefully, they will offer deals like $30 for an hour of play. Otherwise, a great establishment and I LOVE great...
Read moreDecided to come here for a daddy/daughter day. I haven’t been to this location since it was Gameworks, and honestly, DnB doesn’t compare.
The games are overpriced. Most averaged about $1.50 per play, and roughly 80% of the floor was ticket games. That means you’re paying $1.50 for a 5–10 seconds of "fun", and when it comes to prizes, it’s just as bad, 320 tickets only got us three small pieces of candy.
Overall, we spent about $110 total on food and games for just the two of us, which is quite expensive. Pro tip: don’t bundle game cards with food. You’ll end up tipping on the cost of the cards as well as the meal, so the “savings” hit harder than they help. Rookie mistake on my part. They do have an “unlimited” card option, but it caps your tickets, and since there aren’t enough non-ticket games, I don’t see $60 being worth it.
If you’re looking for actual arcade games, the selection is slim. A few racing titles, some pinball, decade-old shooters, a couple of random options, and a handful of VR games, that’s about it. Pretty underwhelming.
The VR stations were a huge letdown. No wipes or cleaning options for headsets, which means you’re basically sharing sweat and face oils with strangers. Disgusting. On top of that, every single hand sanitizer station was empty. In a place where hundreds of people are touching the same machines, this is a big miss.
Food was decent, and our server Emily was fantastic at the table. Unfortunately, bar service was atrocious. With a bar that size, there should be at least three bartenders at all times. Instead, I waited almost 10 minutes for a simple Sprite refill, and I only got it because Emily happened to walk by while I was waiting.
This location feels like a downgrade compared to their old Addison spot. The only other real competitor nearby is Main Event, and unfortunately, they’re about the same in all the areas I...
