Issue not with the food or atmosphere so much as it was with the service. Their lobby was actually beautifully decorated for the holidays. Came in and pretty quickly were seated and asked what drinks we wanted, put our drink order in and waitress came back with our drinks. Asks us what we want to order, we put our order in specifically asking for both dishes to not have a certain ingredient in them, put it in on the tablet and walks away. Three or four more parties come in and are seated at different tables and given the same treatment, but we notice that their food is being cooked and served to them and most of them have parties larger than 3. We wait and try to be patient because we know it's Christmas, but now all three pr four parties that came in after us received their food and have paid and left, we are still there with no food, empty drinks, and it had been over an hour and a half since we arrived and put our order in. Online orders are getting fulfilled so we have had enough and talk to a different server. Immediate deflection of the issue, blame it on Christmas and being busy, say the system goes by first come first serve but that clearly wasn't the case because of the other parties receiving their food 15 minutes after coming in when we had been waiting over an hour. After we bring that up, server switched the story up and says the online orders messed up our ticket. We watch the waitress go and tell the cooks to make our food, only to now receive our food 20 minutes later wrong with the ingredient we previously asked not to be included, included in our meal. At this point we just want to leave so we tell the waitress our food is wrong and we just want to leave and she immediately starts accusing us of not wanting to pay for our drinks, telling us we had to pay for them. We didn't really see why and she caused a huge scene making it look like we were planning on not paying, but truly why pay when we never were able to get refills until we called them over, and waited now two hours for food that wasn't right. She was going to every other table multiple times except for ours, we really had no experience. She starts to get upset and grabs the manager who says our drinks are comped and we leave. Not to mention their bathrooms weren't the cleanest with urine on the floor and seat, which really made me not want to eat there anyways. If a customer has been waiting for over two hours for their food, while everyone else is getting the service expected of the waitress and server staff, and then get their food after asking for it when they were ignored, just to receive the food with the wrong ingredients, they should have the full meal comped without even having to ask. We go to IHop every Christmas and never have had an experience like this. We aren't people who normally throw a big fuss either, and it wasn't the wait time that was the issue because we were expecting it to take awhile, but the service just showed the staff didn't care about the customers. Restaurant is fine as long as you aren't the one to get ignored. I suggest spending your money...
Read moreSunday August 10th, 2023. My daughter and I went for Brunch, the place wasn’t busy at all and we had to wait to be seated. After 10 minutes the waiter came with the menu card. As we were looking and deciding what to order, the came with the water. We gave the order and it took 30 minutes to bring our food. I was half way done as I took a bite from my hash browns, right under the hash brown there was a hair. Now waiting if there’s some waiter so I can show them the hair. Finally I of the waitress came and took my plate and after 10 minutes our waiter comes and says “What happened?” Seriously? He is saying “What happened?” I said didn’t the other waitress told you what happened? And then he said yes. I told him that I would like to talk to the Manager and he says “She is busy and can’t come.” Seriously? This is how their service is? I think the Manager should have come with the waiter. So, I insisted that I would like to talk to the Manager right now! And he goes after 5 minutes the lady Manager comes and asks me “What happened?” I’m like thinking seriously? I had to tell her again and all she had to say “I apologize that there was a hair in your food, so, I didn’t charged you for your combo.” They charged me for the coffee which ordered and the coffee wasn’t hot it was lukewarm, and they charged my daughter’s combo which my daughter ate half of it because when she saw the hair, like me she also lost her appetite but they charged us for that combo and still nice of me I still gave tip to the waiter even though his service...
Read moreEvery single time I either order or dine there's a problem with my meal. I've ordered a crepe with strawberries and bananas through uber eats a year ago and tell me why they gave a crepe with no fruits? On another occasion they also forgot my milkshakes I ordered and at that point they were kind enough to give me some if I go to their actual store and pick them up. Fourth of July this year they weren't open for dine in when my family and I came and took an hour to get our food for it to-go everything was cold and they were also gonna attend another party whom was there after us. I had enough of this location this weekend when I went with my friends to dine in and I asked the gentleman for a strawberry milkshake and without checking, without hesitation he said there was no ice cream. A few minutes later the party of 15 behind us all got milkshakes. And each milkshake was strawberry. I then told the gentleman "I thought there was no ice cream?" And he just said "oh that's what I thought" and didn't even apologize or offered me one. Honestly, I have this gentleman's first name but I will not disclose because I get the pandemic has made establishments short staffed and some places aren't capable of training their people well as this ihop. This was my last time going here. I'd just rather make the extra drive to go...
