I don't like to complain about service, but my wife and I have been here quite a few times (about 30 times) and it's always been the same story: if you order alcoholic drinks, the waitresses will be coming to you every 5 minutes to see if you need another drink. They won't bother checking on how the food is or if you need anything else besides alcohol. If it doesn't increase your overall bill, there's no reason for them to check on you.
If you don't order alcoholic drinks, just pop ("soda" for the sticklers out there) you will get your drink after about 10 minutes. I'm not sure if refills are free or not, because our waitresses never bothered asking. Being the gentleman that I am, I didn't want to inconvenience their important side conversations. Clearly they were much more pressing than doing their actual job.
Also, if you ever wondered why people in the 1800s drank more alcohol than water, you gotta try Fox and Hound's water to get you an interactive history lesson.
If you expect paying your tab to be the easiest thing you could probably ask someone to do at this place, I'd tell you to not get your hopes up. (I know, I almost made it seem like I was going to throw you in for a twist at the end) You'll probably do more walking around the whole restaurant trying to find an employee that could find your waitress that's been missing for the past 20 minutes. After all the employees have embarked on an unsuccessful hour-long manhunt for her, you'll eventually get a random waitress that will bring you the bill with the most somber face you've ever seen on someone. Our waitress probably just fixed herself a nice glass of their premium unfiltered water and left a note. I can only assume that might be a reasonable explanation for their high employee turnover.
I think everyone reading this is asking the million-dollar question: is this guy and his wife ever going back to patronize this place?
Well, I would say there's a higher probability of winning the PowerBall 10 times in a row than us...
Read moreMy boyfriend & I went to this location Saturday night with a friend of ours, to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We have been to this location before and enjoyed it. But this time we had nothing but terrible service, mind you it was not packed even for a Saturday night. Our server NICK K. was far more interested in talking to the hostess at the front counter. I had ordered a rum and Coke, which i saw just sitting at the bar, it took Nick 20 minutes to bring me nothing but a watered down rum and Coke. When he brought it, he did not apologize nor try and make an excuse as "it's busy" but instead ran right back to the hostess desk to flirt. After that we wanted to leave but yet took another 20 minutes to try and get the bill. It was a horrible experience so we had not left him a good tip on the credit card receipt. Luckily we had kept our customer copy and wrote down exactly what we paid. The next day I checked my credit card account and what do you know, there's a different balance for the transaction. We assumed the server had changed our bill so he could give himself an additional $4.97 tip. My boyfriend had called and asked to speak to the manager, and was given Trisha. She had said she couldn't see anything on her end and for us to wait until Tuesday because of Labor Day, the banks would be closed. She said she would call the bank and for us to give her a call back Tuesday. This morning, checked my account and magically we had been credited the $4.97. Thus meaning, she had known that NICK had altered our bill and failed to mention. It's all about customer service and the principles of right and wrong. Never again will be going to...
Read moreMy husband and I had date night and we decided to go to Fox & Hound. We are repeated customers. This time we had a terrible experience with our waitress named Cierra. My husband and I sat there, sipping on our drinks for about an hour and our waitress never decided to check up on us to see if we wanted to order food. As we saw her walk by, she went outside to smoke a cigarette for about 15 minutes. My husband went to go check and she was on her cell phone, laughing and having a good time. We then decided to reach out to a manager who did not seem to care. His response, "Sorry you guys had a bad night." As we checked out, the waitress decided to advise us that she was on the phone talking to her boyfriend that was shot six-times. My response, if your boyfriend was shot, you should not be here. Than she goes on to tell me with an attitude that it occurred in 2012. I kindly advised her that we are her customers and her priority, sitting here for more than an house and not being checked on is unacceptable. She then decides to advise me that she is the best waitress here, and her manager knows that. Obviously, she is the worst waitress this place has. What type of people does this organization hire, violent ones? If she would have just apologized that would have been understanding but to treat your customers with disrespect and then try to solve the issue by advising us that your boyfriend was shot, does not good on you or the organization We will no longer be repeated customers. On a positive note, the hostess Olivia was very nice and...
