I love Chick Fil A, but I never really experienced any Indiana option as I am not from the area. As soon as I was walking to the front of restaurant I saw people staring at me and my friend intensely from in the restaurant. It was only for one thing of course, looking different from the common demographic of NWI. Not just 1 or two stares, the entire restaurant until I met an employee that made me rate this place 5 stars. Her name? It was Maria, which it says on her name tag as “Maria, working since 2023”. She kindly asked us if we needed more sauce or refills. She made me feel welcomed, sadly the rest of the place felt very hostile. There was a Hispanic family who needed an extra seat and asked another family if they had any extras to lend, which that family said no to. I gladly then let them take two chairs from my table. I looked at the family who declined the chairs and noticed they had three whole chairs which were “occupied” by petty things such as a sandwich empty box. Like seriously? It’s 2025 and people are not giving unoccupied chairs to a family just because of their background? Smh. The food was great and I only came to write a review for Ms.Maria and her generosity. No she isn’t close to what my background is and that’s not the point. She was the only person out of everyone who was sincere and kind and didn’t stare at my friend and I I like we were some polar bears at the zoo. I enjoyed the food, but not the atmosphere. Read moreThis store is awesome at getting orders to you in a quick timely matter, they are appropriately staffed at busy times... Which is pretty much from open to close most days. I especially appreciate this because not only do I eat here and the food is always hot and tastes great each time (I'm partial to their nuggets) I also pick up deliveries from them on the daily. The best part is that they keep up on their deliveries and the wait time for those to be filled is within the pick up time range. This is huge for those of us who do deliveries as it allows us to keep the flow moving so we can make more deliveries. The store ambience and employees is fantastic, it is clean, and definitely family friendly. There are several handicapped spaces up front for those who need handicapped parking and there is a small ramp for those in wheelchairs. I believe there are at least two or three spaces directly up front and non handicapped spaces to the side that can be used as well. As busy as this store is, non handicapped spaces fill up quick. They also have over flow parking which is great too. The inside seating area is open to the public. Masks are encouraged but most patrons don't wear them. Its by choice really. One of my favorite things about this restaurant is the employees. You can tell when a business treats their employees correctly and trains them well. Happy employees generally means happy customers. Read moreThis location sucks.We were so excited a Chick-fil-A was opening near our home! After being open for a few weeks, we decided to check this location out. Upon arriving, they immediately took our order and unfortunately didn’t give us a receipt. After about 40 mins of waiting without the line moving, they started walking up to cars relaying a message about a computer shut down. They were out of Coca Cola Products and fries and couldn’t replace that it if was already paid. Given that we had already paid, we waited ANOTHER 30 mins for someone to acknowledge our car and ask for our receipt. Since we weren’t given one, they apologized and offered a full refund, and for the inconvenience of the wait, they would replace our order for free the next time we visited. She took my Name and Order down. 3 days later, we show up for our refund and replacement order and it turns out there was a “miscommunication” and we didn’t understand correctly. They could not refund AND give us the replacement order on their behalf. The best they could do was offer the refund And 1 free sandwich!!!! Only 1 free sandwich after waiting over an hour ?!?!?!? And after you said you would replace the order for free? Terrible customer service!!! We even stated terrible customer service and they still didn’t offer a one time exception. Highly disappointed!. Will not be back to this...
