I placed a mobile order for a Thin Mint Frosty through the Wendy’s app. When I arrived at the drive-thru, I informed the employee at the speaker that I had a mobile order. They instructed me to pull forward to the second window.
Once I got to the window, I was told that the Thin Mint Frosty had been discontinued. They offered me a different Frosty instead, but I declined and asked for a refund. The manager informed me that I would need to cancel the order through the app. I explained that since the order had already been accepted, it was no longer visible in the app and all I had was the receipt.
She insisted that I press a square icon in the top corner of the app, but I showed her there was no such option. At that point, the manager turned around, began speaking negatively about me to other team members, and said she was “done with me.”
A team member then stepped in to help and tried to call the customer support number listed in the app using my phone. While she was doing that, the manager returned with an attitude and repeatedly asked, “Who is she calling?” Frustrated, I left the drive-thru.
When the call connected, the representative told me I had called the wrong number. She told me that she only deals with delivery complaints. I explained that the number was listed in the official Wendy’s app, but she refused to give me the correct number and told me to “Google it.” After hanging up, I found a different customer service number through a web search, but that number was already closed for the day.
This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I hope this issue can be addressed, both in terms of app functionality, store-level customer service, and I want my money back.

Read moreIf there was a way to do 0 stars I would . Absolutely the worst Wendys . It wasnt always the case , I have visited this Wendy’s since i was a child since i live a block away . Over the last year the service quality and overall atmosphere has dropped. Many times going in the last year with kids having head phones in but this last time was the worst . Went through thw drive through at around 12 . Drivethrough order taker was extremely rude and said hi wait . We then waited for two minutes and tried again with a reply of yes , not ready yet . I as well work in fast food and now it can be busy at lunch , but this attitude was taken too far . Aftwr waiting 7 minutes she says “ ok order “ so i start to order and then has an attitude the whole time so i asked for a manager she told me to pull to window . I decided to pull around not hold up the line to talk to the manager . Maria came to ask me how she could hel but it came off as “well what do you want me to do “ I said i would like to order without someone with attitude. She walked away and was told im ordering with someone else . No apology , the orginal girl walked by multiple times to check on if she was in trouble or not . Was told i can come back tommorow to talk to store manager since my “problem “ wasn’t handled accordingly . This is very disappointing and totally...
Read moreIts Wendy's, what else can I say. Seriously though, I actually like the food at Wendy's but at this particular location I did not like the lack of food. My meaning? Well, i ordered the #2 for myself (double deluxe), my wife ordered the chicken fillet sandwich as it comes, and for my son i ordered the grilled chicken wrap as it comes. After waiting for 10 to 15 minutes (in the dining room as the sole customers at 8pm) for our food it was finally ready. However, there was no lettuce (pre-ecoli outbreak) on either of our meals and the food was cold. I went up and asked the cashier why our food was missing lettuce and she said they were out. (What fast food restaurant runs out of lettuce?) She also claimed that she told us this upon our ordering the food but she did not. Long story short, the people who work at this particular location seem to be very lazy and apparently the management needs to take some classes on...
