I’ve given this place several chances, and last night was it for me. My friends and I came for stranger things trivia, despite our past less than great experiences coming to region ale. Our waitress was the only somewhat decent part of our experience. She was kind and apologetic about our complaints. Our food order took well over an hour. Turns out their “receipt paper ran out and our order was lost”, so the manager gave us 20% off the order. Food comes out & not a single person was pleased with their order. Nothing was hot or fresh whatsoever. Nachos were soggy and cold from sitting out. The $4 pulled pork added to the nachos was dry and there was barely any. The burger had been reheated in the microwave, the lettuce was hot and soggy. The 75 cent wings were crunchy and over cooked. Everyone was starving after waiting over an hour to eat, otherwise all the food would have been sent back. My friend couldn’t even eat her burger. I asked for the $4 pulled pork be taken off the ticket for the nachos and our waitress took it off no problem. The manager knew we were unhappy before we asked for him, because the next thing we know an order of doughnuts came to our table. They were the only thing we got that were fresh and hot. When my friend asked for her burger to be taken off the bill, she sent the manager over and the manager came up & the first thing he said was “the table we screwed everything up on”. (At least he knew right?) he then asked “was it the wait?” referring to why we asked to see the manager. My friend explained to him how awful her food was and that since she couldn’t even eat it she didn’t want to pay for it. He had the audacity to argue and say that the lettuce was supposed to be soft and soggy and the burger appeared to be fine. After going back & forth on it he finally agreed to take it off her bill, but you could tell he wasn’t happy about it. This was the last straw for my friends and for me, I’ve had more bad experiences than good. We learned our lesson and will not be returning. It’s a shame because this place could be so great if they put...
Read moreThe night didn't start out well. When we got there, the hostess told my friend we couldn't sit for half an hour. When I went over to ask if we couldn't at least sit at an empty table (there were plenty) so we didn't have to stand for half an hour, our party of 3 are all in our 60s, I was told that we had to stand, we weren't allowed to sit. I chuckled and said, you're young but when you get to be in your 60s you'll understand not wanting to be on your feet that long. She asked if I wanted to talk to the manager and I told her that wouldn't be necessary but she could let the manager know that I thought the rule that we couldn't sit a table just because the kitchen was busy was a silly rule. She evidently told the manager that I was rude because the manager came and chewed me out because I shouldn't be rude to "a child". She said the hostess is a 17 year old child. I tried to explain that I hadn't been rude I just asked why we couldn't sit instead of standing when there were open tables. She said she saw me pointing at the "child" just as I was pointing at her. I admit I use my hands when I talk but never pointed at anyone. She went on to tell me that I was welcome to leave. But then when one of my friends came over, we were told we could sit at a table but we would not be served for at least half an hour. We Saud that was fine. Another manager? came over and asked if there was a problem. We explained everything to her and she said we could have sat in the waiting area. I then told her that neither the hostess or the manager had told me there was a place where we could sit, if they had we would have sat there. The evening did get better, the food was good, the owner, Steve seemed real nice, the band (South of 30) was good and our waitress Meg...
Read moreI patronized this place twice. The first time was bingo night. I was greeted by a very pleasant younger person when I entered. This person was my waittress. I was asked if I wanted any thing to eat or drink, I told her no not at the moment ill get something later as I was focused on the bingo game. she gave me water and told me she would check back in on me. about 15 mins later I was approached by an older woman. Rudely she told me if I wasn't going to buy anything I can't be there for bingo. before I could tell her I was going to order something she told me " you can stay for now but you can't come back and play bingo if you are not buying anything" and walked away. My waitress saw what had occurred and came to me and apologized. It ruined my appetite but i ordered a drink to keep my word. The second visit, i sat at the bar with a friend. It was only 1 patron sitting at the bar, I think it was close to closing time. the bartender was having conversation with someone(not sure if it was a coworker) and it took very long to get serviced. We sat for about 10mins, I was being very patient. When I summoned her, she gave a look as if I had done something wrong. I only been to this place twice and it was an unpleasant experience. Very poor...
