Started going to, "Sam's", a little over 6 years now. A few years back, I decided to stop coming back all together. I just recently went back to, "Sam's On the Harbor", &I quickly remembered why I stopped going in the first place! Almost every time I've gone out to breakfast here, the owner is at the door, or somewhere else in the restaurant. He does NOT act like he owns this restaurant at all. I've said hello to him on numerous occasions, without even getting a smile back in return. Almost all of the waitresses are grumpy, and some even rude. There's one good waitress there named Amanda. First off, food is nothing to brag about. Omelette has chunks of undercooked egg white mixed with regular eggs, and it was pretty bad.
The bigger issue was feeling rushed. The server was rushing so much she put our plates down in front of us and the butter slid off and went all over my gf. Server got paper towel and water for her but that was it.
Other thing I can’t stand is when the check is put in front of you before you’re done. She never asked if we were done or wanted the check. It was just put in front of us. Maybe I wanted a coffee or another juice?

On Memorial day of all days I would think they would extend some type of discount or special for all who have served. I was very disappointed to hear they did nothing. Moreover the service was very bad, my son did not like his French toast and we got a hassle when sending it back, the homefries are pre cut frozen potatoes that are over salted... we will not go back EVER. $21 for 2 people that had no extras is a bit...
