I visit this McDonald’s pretty frequently and there’s never anything wrong with the food itself, but the older lady (long hair, glasses, sounds like she smokes 20 packs a day) who works the drive-thru has the WORST attitude ever and should not work in the service industry AT ALL. I hope to god she isn’t a manager. I placed my order at the drive-thru, I know I said “2 large fries and 2 McChickens” along with the other things I ordered (3 other items to be exact), I pull to the window and pay and receive my food. I pull forward slightly to double check my bag and see that I was missing a fry and a McChicken. I reversed back to the window since no one was behind me and I sat and waited for probably 5+ minutes before she returned to the window. I could hear her taking orders so I’ll give her that, but still, this is probably why their drive-thru gets so backed up all the time. Finally she comes back and barks a total at me, assuming I’m the car that’s behind me now. I tell her that I was missing just two things and she acted as if I wasn’t just at the window 5 minutes prior. Again, there were no cars behind me when I received my order and when I backed up to the window. She didn’t ask if I wanted a receipt, nor give me one, when I paid so I couldn’t even check to see if my order was correct before I received my food. She asked what my total was (which I thought was a little low when she originally told me but I brushed it off) to pull it back up. I confirm my order to her and she has the worst attitude saying “I don’t have any extra food over here”. I asked to see my receipt to see if there were any errors, she hands it to me and what do you know, she only rang in 1 large fry and 1 McChicken. So I asked if I can get those two items and pay for them there (thinking it’d be no problem since it was two really easy items and I was paying with card) and she rudely told me “No you can’t do that here. You have to go back around”. I said “Okay thank you” and left. I’m not writing this just because of this one encounter, I’m writing this because every time she has worked the drive-thru when I’ve gone through, she has always had the worst attitude and I’m sick of it. Anytime there’s an issue with an order of mine, anywhere, I always try to see it from the employees perspective because I also work in the service industry and I know how it can get. However, she’s rude with customers and other employees. She often leaves the window open and I can always hear her speaking so rudely to other employees. She should not be in-contact with customers and honestly, she shouldn’t have her job. The manager said rudely were you at the speaker. I said yea and I said my number. Manager Lisa impolitely slams the window in my face. She slammed the window so hard it bounced back open at the edge. Another employee comes to the window asking for the code again. I could still hear the manager negative comments at the window when she was in the back. I said whats the manager name to this other employee. She said MOMMY LISA. I said no seriously, whats the managers name? She said we call her Mommy LISA, but LISA.I asked was that the manager? She said yea thats "MOMMY LISA". Furthermore, I was puzzled by the casual reference to the manager as "Mommy Lisa" by the teenage employees. It raises questions about the professionalism and work environment at this particular McDonald's location. Such informal and suggest a lack of managerial authority and professionalism. In light of this experience, I requested a refund and, despite initially leaving, I returned to request a receipt for the refund. Which at first Lisa shook her head and said no its already paid for then after telling her I never got my food and arguing with Lisa..etc she finally gave me a refund. It is disconcerting to witness a manager, responsible for handling customer concerns, behaving in a manner that could be likened to that of a child. The use of derogatory language, insulting customers to her employees, and the peculiar nickname only contribute to the overall sense of unprofessionalism. I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider the impact such incidents can have on the reputation of your brand. Whoever owns this franchise needs to remove this manager that act worse than a child. I find it challenging to have confidence in the individuals preparing my food in the kitchen when the manager's behavior at the window raises serious concerns. Read moreThe managers that are sisters, Lisa & Lori, are going to end up causing a major lawsuit against this McDonald’s the way they harass, target, and consistently swear at customers. It’s ONLY one Lisa or Lori interacts with me that there’s issues. The overnight manager, I think her name is Lisa, seems to be on drugs & she needs to seek mental help. This is the 3rd ignorant encounter with her. A different employee working night shift with her even told the general manager of how much she was disrespectful, rude, harassing, and swearing at me because SHE made my food incorrectly. I couldn’t believe my ears the way she was talking to me when SHE was in the wrong. Then tonight, it happened again. She was very disrespectful & rude when I was ordering, made me sit in line, then when I got to the front window and she saw that I’m black and the person that filed a complaint on her before, she screamed in my face and said “GET OUT OF MY DRIVE THROUGH OR IM CALLING THE COPS!!!” I told her it’s not her drive thru and why did I have to leave? She then said “GET OUT MY DRIVE THRU!! IF YOU DONT LEAVE IM CALLING THE COPS!”
There is something seriously wrong with these managers and the general manager / owner does not seem to care. Judging by the many reviews, I’m not the first customer & won’t be the last to have these insane harassment experiences with these 2 managers. I’ve even had friends who said the same thing. Your company better change something QUICK before a mass lawsuit against your company has to take place since your company seems to ALLOW your MANAGERS to harass, swear, discriminate, and retaliate against customers with no repercussions.
Any other time I went and wasn’t dealing with those 2 managers, I NEVER had those type of experiences. But the issue still falls back on the owners and general manager for consistently allowing these behaviors...
