Smoothie King — Restaurant in Scottdale

DO NOT come to this Smoothie King. You might get yelled at in front of customers by the leaders there.

On my mom’s second visit to this location, she ordered an açaí bowl and requested extra granola to the girl at the register. As they started making the bowl (they have glass dividers so you can see the whole process as they make the food) she reminded the girl to add the extra granola. Apparently the girl didn’t hear her at the register, so one of the leaders by the name of Keshon began to berate and yell at my mom insisting that she can’t get extra granola, she should have gotten some at the register, and told the girl making the bowl not to change the tiny portion size she was making because he didn’t want to mess with his bonus.

Then the girl who prepared the bowl placed it upside down in the bag.

The customer is NOT the priority at this location. Also the employees need to be better trained in customer service, taking orders and preparing the smoothies. On my first visit there I was given a different smoothie than the one I ordered, but I was tired so I just accepted it rather than making a fuss.

YOU NEED MORE STAFF THAT ARE TRAINED! I ordered on APP 20 minutes ahead of time get there and order not even started! I’ve currently been waiting additional 30 minutes and still not started! Went to Walmart for 20 minutes come back and STILL NOT READY ! I told her it’s been OVER AN HOUR SHE SAYS SHES THE ONLY ONE working and she had 10 orders ahead of mines ! It took hour and a half for 4 kid smoothies ( and I only got 3 for I got tired of waiting) ! RIDICULOUS Definitely won’t be returning to this location! Planet Smoothie is SUPER FAST! I was so excited smoothie king opened this new location near my place however the drinks turns out to be the worst I ever had. I normally get the peanut power plus with strawberry favor, the smoothie was blended 5 times before they pour it out, and it was so bad that you basically chewing ice chips every sip and it was also very bland, I swear the recipe was way off. I also got a smoothie bowl and the banana was rotten and it was disgusting. Also the peanut butter jar was almost out and there was just few dots on my bowl and I asked for more and the employee said no. It was not worth $20+, I am not coming back to...
