Take far too long without a "be with you in a moment"...i don't expect much out of baristas because I'm sure they're not paid well and rarely get tips (i tip wherever there's a bucket or it's expected, guilt from previously being a server. ) But the dead eyes of the coffee maker dude tells me he's either a serial killer or the job sucks. Working for big corporate places like "charge you far too much of your bucks" Starbucks generally suck badly with all their franchise rules. I'm sure it started out awesome back in the nineties grunge days in rainy Seattle or something...run by hipsters and grunge punks or goth dudes with black nails and eyeliner and a nose ring, that finally could somewhat dress how they typically did in the streets. Unfortunately now Starbucks seems to be the symbol of a previously run down hood area that started the gentrification process with no turning back. Leaving folks who one time had reasonable rent to be forced to relocate with the unfortunate possibility of the same thing happening soon in the new neighborhood. So when i see a white girl with flaming red hair, back pack, lots of tattoos, a septum piercing and doc martens running around a neighborhood that is predominantly filled with working class people of color, (i definitely stereo- type yup) there's surely to be a Starbucks that has popped up with other like looking kids, then a weeks later the yippies and young professional will soon be lined up talking about how cute the neighborhood is and how cheap it would be to renovate it and possibly flip a few too. Starbucks, particularly this dry joint where there was a line and two people working total again with the slow order taking and ignoring people standing there, while she's catering to the wealthy lady buying coffee for her 12 year old daughter and friend sš is a complete and utter drag and against so many of my personal values( but I'm getting the coffee for my client)...just ask old dead eyes when he hands you your coffee and says...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlways shop at Kroger's, but never purchased from Starbuck's. Went today and could have really done without the attitudes. Barista (with braids up in a bun) was rude and curt with her answers. I asked about one of their lattes and what was in it, and she was not interested in telling me at all. Hell, I didn't even want to ask about the other drink I was ordering. I asked if it came with whipped cream and she dryly said, "if you want"...why would I be asking if I didn't want it?
When the drinks were ready, the other barista just put the drinks on the counter and walked away. I noticed there were other drinks present that people were supposed to pick up so I had to ask, "Are these mine??" She mumbled something and walked away. I asked for sugar which she had to come back for (at the other Starbuck's they actually ask you if you would like anything else) and she seemed quite annoyed, and gave me a handful (only good thing about visit). And for $6 drinks, why was one of them not even full!?!?
And why do you list food items, the calories, but NO PRICES! You think someone is just going to order some OVER PRICED food without asking how much the mess costs? I wasn't even going to bother the gross baristas for costs!
I also noticed that others have complained about these two ladies, yet management seems to do NOTHING about it. MANAGEMENT: STOP responding with the passive aggressive responses and DO something about your workers (reprimand, re-train, fire...). The customer service is gross and for this has been my first and LAST time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this Starbucks location and had an incredibly disappointing encounter with one of the employees. The barista "Meesha", if that's her real name, was shockingly rude and dismissive from the moment I approached the counter. Instead of greeting me or even acknowledging my presence, she mumbled under her breath and sighed as if taking my order was a monumental inconvenience.
When I began my order, her response was curt and condescending. It was clear she had no interest in helping me or making my experience pleasant. Throughout the transaction, she continued to display a lack of basic courtesy and professionalism. I told her to forget about it and I'd find another coffee shop.
As someone who frequents Starbucks regularly, I expect a certain level of customer service, which was sorely lacking here. It's disappointing to see such disregard for customers' experience in a company that prides itself on quality and service. Management should seriously consider retraining or replacing staff who fail to uphold these standards.
I hope my feedback helps improve the service at this location. Until then, I'll be taking my business to other coffee shops where customer...
