Rosita's By Lerma’s — Restaurant in Scottsbluff

I am rating based on the 4 times I have been to this restaurant. 3 times was with my company at our Christmas Parties and 1 time during lunch on a Saturday, February 2019. During the company party it took over 1 hour for our orders to be taken. This has happened each year we've went and each year we complain. Then another hour to get our orders and half the time it's not what we ordered. There can be other parties there larger than ours and they have their orders and are gone before we even begin to get our food. Then trying to pay the bill afterward is a nightmare. My family and I have gone for lunch on a Saturday just to try it without us being a huge group. We had a friendly waitress but she spoke no english and our drinks never were refilled and our order was not hot like we get at other restaurants. Then when we did get the check no one was there to take our money. I'm disappointed in quality of service both for our company and as a customer on a regular Saturday. I feel with the bad experience in customer service I can't rate the food properly. I just know there were no "free" chips and salsa like other mexican restaurants do even when it was just my 4...

I recently came to this restaurant as part of a birthday party. We were seated in the back rooms for that. Otherwise I’ve tried to avoid coming here as past experiences here (2 or 3) were not good. Food wasn’t up to par for me and one of the other times my date and I waited 10 minutes or more to even get drinks. Then not sure how much longer before we just up and left.

So upon this visit I was mostly opened minded but not expecting much. The waitress firstly seemed annoyed to have to deal with the large party. The options on the menu seemed pretty basic. And then we got our food which again wasn’t very good. The enchiladas were tiny and the sauce on them wasn’t tasty. The beans runny. Food not as ordered for some.

With so many other Mexican restaurants around there’s just too many better options than this place. The place looks much nicer after recent remodeling but I think the food can do with an overhaul. They say it’s authentic but to me it doesn’t hit the spot. Perhaps I’ll try some different items in the future in hopes of finding what keeps this place...

Groos.... As a traveler throughout the country espcially the midwest plus being of Hispanic backround. I was on a business trip to Scottsbluff and was recommended a mexican restaurant but it happened to be closed. So I tried this one. The food was luke warm, hardly any meat in the burrito. It was filled with mainly rice and beans. Poor taste and zero authenticity. They didnt have 2 of the most common mexican beverages. They didnt have lengua or buche again two common mexican cow cuts. Lady who served me mentioned that they didnt have it due to moving to a new location. . Plus they didnt offer free chip., so i purchased chips that were dripping in oil chips came with a cup of can nacho cheese. The salsa lacked flavor and only the taste of small spice.
