McDonald's — Restaurant in Scottsboro

Read all please (2 in one review really long, sorry i do not sugar coat anything) Today Saturday 8/26/2023, went trough the drive thru, ordered a #3 w/ large frie and a large Carmel Frappuccino with 2 shots of expresso, #1 w/ large frie and a large sweet Tea, mcchicken. The lady taking the order was nice and tried the manager or whatever of middle eastern origin came over the speaker while she and I was talking yelling rudely about no expresso shot, machine was down. As I was asking her to forget the shot of expresso he was still being rude and yelling, as I made it to the pay window she had her hands up in frustration, didn't get a receipt, made it to the food window was told to pull up and wait, 10 mins past the man of middle eastern origin came out with attitude and threw the food at me, it all was over salted burgers and fries, tea was watered down no sweetness at all. Took my stepson by after he got off work ( he also works in fast food at another restaurant in town), at his request, went thru the drive-thru again, service was slow, when we got there the line was to the front door, took 15-20 minutes for us to make it to the speaker then asked to wait, I was polite and said "yes ma'am" to the lady on the speaker, my stepson and I had a conversation while waiting then he said it's been 10 minutes, I looked back and said to my stepson "the line is to the road now" (talking to my stepson) the employee came over the speaker " sir we are doing the best we can with the staff we have" in a hatefully loud and rude tone, it hit a nerve in me so I got hateful back and told them "we will never come back" with a few choice words (I have a few issues I got when I was in the national guard and during active duty) after the altercation we left (with a few other cars following us because they heard the altercation) went to a much better and newer place next door, this location needs a complete over haul on employees and managers before someone actually gets hurt over little petty stuff, they are rude, disrespectful, inconsiderate and lazy, everyone I talk to from my work has had similar situations happen and some are previous employees of this location and said the past couple years it's went down hill, I think it starts at all managers and infects the whole staff, I will make it a point to never visit this location again, this information is for the public and corporation of McDonald's and the leaders in the district, we are all getting tired of this location that has became one of the worst restaurants in Scottsboro al, becoming one more thing infecting the pride we have for our city, please take warning before considering this location, their is a lot more restaurants that are way better than this McDonald's location in Scottsboro al, hope this is helpful if you have read it all, sorry but I do not sugar coat...

It will probably be a very long time before I come back.. We come in for a small party in the play room and while I was ordering I notice there is a mayonnaise packet in the floor that had been stepped on and squirted out and the kitchen area had fries EVERYWHERE. Went to get my drink and the whole bar was sticky and looked like it hadn’t been wiped down all day the little garbage cans had garbage overflowing onto the bar. Went to the play room to sit down and the table had had dried ketchup and sticky drinks spilt which let me know it had been there a while and the floor was disgusting. The garbage can in there was also overflowing and had garbage spilled into the floor. It was so bad several of the people there for the party mentioned how nasty everything was. I got my food and my hamburger bun was crunchy on the edges and my little girls nuggets wasn’t even warm. We was there for about 2 hours letting the kids play and the whole time we was there not once did anything get cleaned. 2 hours later and the mayonnaise packet was still squirted and now tracked on the floor. I never leave reviews on anything but this was so ridiculous that I feel something...

Not sure why I keep coming back to THIS McDonald's. It never fails to disappoint. So, I heard about the new and improved burger patties, and I figured I'd give them a try. I ordered the mcdouble and fry. The sandwich was only lukewarm. The fries were the same, and limpy. The so- called new patties didn't taste any different than the old ones. In fact, you could tell they were cooked awhile ago. Not fresh at all. I hope I remember to never come back to this specific restaurant. I must mention this... during the five minutes I was in there, I observed the fry- station worker keep touching the back of his pants with his gloved hands. The girl that just got off break had rubbed her runny nose with her hand, then immediately get a customer's food. The guy that bagged my food (I believe was the manager) had just shaken hands with a dirty- looking customer, didn't wash his hands afterwards, then bagged my food. There needs to be some retraining on cleanliness... for real...AND, some training about fresh food. I will mention that the woman that waited on me was fantastic. Friendly, clean, and hard- working. I wish I would've...
