George & Son's Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Scottsdale

The short version: I'm commending George and Son's on excellent customer service and tasty food.

So I ordered from George and Son's off of GrubHub. Huge mistake, never use GrubHub. My order was wrong, like the full wrong order. Turns out the delivery guy just grabbed a bag assumed it was the right one and took off with it. This is where the 5 stars comes in because George and Sons figured it out before I did, as I was taking the stuff out of the bag to be exact, and called me. They really wanted me to get the correct order but there isn't much they can do on their end. They encouraged me to call GrubHub and make them send the driver back to pick up my order. I spent a while with GrubHub's customer service but at the end of the day the driver refused to come back. I'm not going to say more on that because this isn't a review for GrubHub.

The food I received was really good but it's hard for me to enjoy it because it's not what I ordered and Mongolian Beef sounded so good. I will be coming back for the Mongolian Beef. That's the last thing I want to say. If you're reading this George and Son's I am sorry that the only choice was a refund and you wasted time and money. I will be coming back...

called in to place a order they told me they didnt open until 11:30am they hung up and i looked on the website and it said 11am i called back and i told them that they opened at 11am that it said it on the website the women on the phone said sorry i guess we do open at 11am, i ordered my food went and picked it up and when i got in the car the soup was missing called back and they said that that it was for dine in only and if i wanted my soup i would have to request it, WHY WOULD I HAVE TO REQUEST FOR SOMETHING I PAID FOR? i drove back and picked u p my soup. came back to the office and opened the bag everything was packaged wrong there was food spilling everywhere. spicy fried rice was disgusting (THE FRIED RICE AT THE PHX LOCATION IS AMAZING) i ordered general yang's chicken because that's all i eat and opened up the messy packaging and GUESS WHAT? IT WASN'T GENERAL YANG'S CHICKEN.

WE GO TO THE PHOENIX LOCATION ONCE A WEEK AND ARE TREATED WONDERFUL WE ONLY CAME TO THIS LOCATION BECAUSE IT WAS CLOSE TO MY WORK OFFICE AND I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE. NEVER GOING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!!! HATE IT!!! ONLY GOING TO THE PHOENIX LOCATION...

So I walked in and they have two parties of 10 people in two separate tables and a couple of other parties and couples sitting having dinner. Yet the sign outside says NO DINING IN .

I asked the person when I walked in is there dining and they said oh no these are just families (which they were not because they were scattered across the restaurant)

And he wouldn't seat me. So I walk out. Very embarrassing

He comes OUTSUDE saying come back come back .. but I was upset and embarrassed in front of all those people that were sitting down.

And I only came here because I wanted to support local restaurants that have been affected with Covid. Instead of going to a drive-through like Chick-fil-A or in-N-Out Burger. And I get turned away

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.. And this is my first place dining from out of town.

Sad ...and embarrassing ...
