Ordered the food with a pickup time over an hour away in the app but the sandwich’s were made immediately. The sandwiches set for over an hour before we got them. They definitely were soggy but still some what good and we ate them. Lastly it says “extra” when you add the freebies so I expected those ingredients to be on the sandwich and that those were if you wanted extra of them. The was more my fault but a bit confusing. Just not happy with soggy sandwiches.
Update,
Owner replied and apologized for soggy sandwiches. Said it is hard to deal with logistics and timing. Didn’t own the fail on his team and the app. I put a time to pick up an hour away, the sandwich shouldn’t be cued tell 15 min prior. Not acceptable apology. Change the App to say the sandwich’s will be made immediately after ordering or fix the issue. Don’t say it is hard, that isn’t the customers problem. Give me the option of a pick up time in increments of 15 minutes, I don’t expect my order to sit for an hour. I bought two hot sand which’s that ended up cold and soggy for $28. I lowered my review to 1 star for failure to own the mistake, and...
Read moreIke’s has some of the most interesting and delicious sandwiches you’ll ever have! I was pretty excited to recently discover this location in Scottsdale, as I used to frequent the Mill Ave location on lunch breaks. I do have to say that while the staff was super kind and friendly, the vibe of this location just didn’t seem to match the normal Ike’s aura, and for whatever reason, I feel like I paid a good bit more here than the other locations. My M.I.L.F. sandwich and fries cost me $17... but it’s OH SO delicious. As far as the wait goes that others have mentioned, this is pretty normal. It’s not jimmy johns or subway - these are crafted sandwiches. You order what you want, go sit down, and they’ll let you know when it’s ready - be patient,...
Read moreI had a pick up order for two sandwiches for me and my coworker. One sandwich was vegan and the other had turkey, bacon and cheese. They marked the sandwiches incorrectly. My coworker got my sandwich and proceeded to eat as he was extremely hungry from the day. Me, however, I get to sit here with an empty stomach and my anger as nobody at that location seems to answer the phone.
I am vegan by diet restriction, not by choice. I cannot eat meat. It makes me sick.
On top of the terrible mix up, I also had to wait for 35 minutes for two sandwiches to be made at around 2:30pm. Not a busy time, so that excuse is lost on me.
I am VERY upset and frustrated. I love Ike’s, but this experience...
