Just came back from NYC the day before and was still craving pizza so what better time to check this place out while the memory is still fresh.
We were originally just going to get slices but decided to just get a full pie when the cashier told us we could do a half-half pie and that it could be ready in 20 minutes since there wasn't a wait around 5pm.
We got half pepperoni & ricotta and half killer bee. If I were to compare it to some of the popular nyc slice shops such as L'industrie, Scarrs's, Mama Too's, Lucia, etc, there are some key differences. While the flavors of both halves were solid, the pizza itself was just a bit too greasy/oily which may be due to the large amount of cheese (might be a preference thing). While the undercarriage and crust was thin, it didn't have the same crisp, crunch and chew when you go in for a bite.
I'd be curious to order another pie but request for it to be cooked a bit longer in the oven. Overall, I give Johnny T's a solid 7/10 - not quite like some of the top places in nyc but definitely reminiscent of a standard nyc slice. Would definitely come back try the wide variety of flavors Johnny T's has to offer in addition to having the pie...

It was our first time there, and from the moment we walked in, the vibe just felt right. We started with the fried ravioli (because… how could we not?), and let me tell you—crispy, cheesy, perfection. Then came the star of the show: the Pepperoni & Ricotta Pizza. The flavor combo was on point, and the undercarriage? Chef’s kiss. Golden, crisp, and held up like a champ. No floppy slices here!
But what really sealed the deal was Javier—we ended up chatting with him quite a bit, and he made us feel like regulars. Super friendly, full of stories, and gave us a mini history lesson on Jonny T’s that made the whole experience even better. You can tell he takes real pride in the place, and it definitely made a lasting impression.
Already dreaming about going back. If you're in the area and haven’t been—go....

This place has quickly become my absolute favorite pizza spot in Arizona. After being voted the number one pizza in Arizona by the owner of Barstool Sports, the restaurant had to close temporarily due to a falling-out between business partners. Thankfully, they’ve reopened under a new name (due to legal reasons), but rest assured, the quality, ingredients, menu, and chef are exactly the same as before!
I’ve been here over five times in the last three weeks and have already sent several friends and family members their way. The food is consistently amazing, and it’s clear they’ve maintained the same standard that earned them top honors.
If you were a fan of Andiamo Pizzeria, you’ll be thrilled to know it’s essentially the same incredible spot, just with a new name. Highly, highly recommend checking this place out—you...
