Potbelly — Restaurant in Scottsdale

Last night 4/2/23, I walked into the store at 8:30p. Two employees were there. One was on the phone having a loud conversation. The other was breaking down boxes. No one greeted me. I walked to the back of the store to have my order taken. No one came to the back. The one employee on the phone continued her conversation. The other took the broken down boxes to the trash. Not one of them told me they’d come take my order. The employee on the phone went on to wrap dream bars after her phone conversation ended. She did not ask to take my order. I waited another 5 minutes before leaving the store. No food in hand Because no one serviced me. I will be contacting this health department because this is not the first time the employee on the phone has had her phone behind the counter. I will never patron this...

This location needs some serious work. The staff was clearly annoyed when taking our order. We felt rushed when we were the only ones in line and in the store. The chicken salad sandwich was very bland which I could get past but then I bit into a large piece of cartilage which made me throw 2/3rds of the sandwich away. The worst part of our experience, however, was the girl behind the counter with the almost 3" long finger nails handling food and her messy long blonde hair hanging down all over the place. She couldn't even put gloves on because her nails were so long. It was unsanitary and unsettling. There is no place for nails that long in food service and wear a hair net of pull your hair back tight....

I went in to buy just the bread without meat just the toppings & she say we can’t sale it like that & I’m like what it change from the day before she couldn’t explain I will never go Bk in there again for the simple fact what changes from the day before & now & she couldn’t tell me. My twins love pot belly they don’t eat meat so this have been helpful for u a for almost 8 months I’ve been going here & for her to tell me she will have to charge us as if we was purchasing a sandwich with meat on it & it will be $9 dollars just for some lettuce I’ll start making em @ home my twins where so...
