Terrible experience. Ordered via Google that showed it was the storefront, not DoorDash, so naturally I assumed it was a way to order through the restaurant directly. I even received a text when my order was ready as if it came from the restaurant.
Well, when I arrived and told them I was there through my pick-up, I was reprimanded and told I should have called to let them know I was on the way and placed an order. Um, what?
The employee kept telling me the order was through DoorDash despite me not ordering through DoorDash. I even showed the text I received. What a rude way to treat a customer.
The food was terrible to make matters worse. The “grilled” shrimp was battered and had BBQ on it. Not what I ordered and not authentic. Have no idea if I’ll have an allergic reaction to whatever they used.
The sauce had no flavor and they filled the entree with lettuce instead of using a decent amount of rice noodles.
To top it off, everything was warm including the carrots and cucumber.
Overall disappointing. The fresh lemonade was okay...
Read moreGot takeout just before close on a Thursday. The food was very bad, service was fast and friendly, and the ambiance was cozy and relaxing. I got the Thai tea, shrimp fresh rolls, and chicken banhi sandwhich. The thai tea was pretty good. The banhi was served warm wrapped in paper, and it had nice crispy bread, fresh vegetable toppings (jalapenos, carrots, cucumbers, and cilantro), tasty sauces (mayonaise and hoisin). The samdwich's downfall was its dry old extremely chewy chicken that must have been sitting around all day. My jaws were sore after consuming the sandwhich. The fresh rolls were fresh but not very good because of the imgredients and proportions. The wrappers, noodles, and salad were all fresh, but they were mostly spring mix lettuce with a few noodles and plain shrimp. They would be better with larger better quality shrimp, cucumbers, carrots, cilantro, and more noodles. The spring mix was the dominant flavor, which is...
Read moreAfter shopping at W-mart and finding myself with some extra time at 10:10 AM, I decided to search for a nearby pho place that would be opening soon. To my delight, I found a gem just four minutes away from W-mart that opened its doors at 10:30 AM. The owner kindly turned on the flashing red and blue open sign early, precisely at 10:22 AM, inviting eager customers inside. We ordered a beef combination pho and a chicken pho, both of which arrived in less than six minutes, piping hot and incredibly aromatic. The broth was boiling warm and deliciously rich, great noodles portion ; however, a bit more protein would have made it absolutely perfect. The setting was equally appealing with clean white tables, dark tile floors, and warm white IKEA lighting fixtures casting an inviting glow while light melody music played in the background. If you find yourself nearby and craving a quick bite for brunch, this spot is definitely worth...
