Stopped in the new location, it was clean and quiet. The food was lack luster for the 3 mini chimi combo plate, kinda skimped on allot of the ‘sideI’ items, nearly no guac, and had to request a side of sour cream. My mom got the 3 taco plate (carne asada beef for all three). When the food was brought out to us the drinks were supposed to be brought as well, yet we had to go ask for our drinks. Immediately after my mom took the first bite she looked at me and said “this is not carne asada…this isn’t even meat” I was confused and at first I thought she was just being picky. However when she didn’t want the third taco and put it on my plate I stuck my fork in the ‘meat’ to try for myself. I was astonished to have the thought of ‘what in the world is this??” I can honestly in complete truth say that the filling of what was in the taco absolutely was not carne asada nor was it MEAT of any kind I had ever eaten at any time in my life. I’ve eaten a lot of carne asada and a lot of beef from many many different places and this was something posing in place of meat. IT DID NOT CHEW LIKE MEAT IT DOD NOT HAVE THE CONSISTENCY OF MEAT IT DID NOT HAVE ANY FLAVOR TO HIDE THE FACT THAT IT WAS SO BAD. It was as if it came out of a tube or had been puréed into something and then meant to look like chunked “beef”. Save your self some money spent, a stomach ache and the displeasure that comes with the unknown thing that is called carne asada beef at this establishment. The staff : the gal that took the order was pleasant and polite, the young gentleman who brought the food was also polite and it was not his fault that the drinks were absent of the order. The older man whom we asked for a lid [(for the 12oz margarita I had ordered) as the sign had clearly stated that they offered margarita as ‘to-go’ drinks] had offered a lid that belonged to the side cups : the 2.5 oz small containers. This was obviously wrong. Then he proceeded to walk over to the self service drink area to look at the lids over there, this was implying that we had not already tried the OBVIOUS AVAILABLE OPTIONS. He had to physically grab my drink from my hand and attempt to fit a lid that was something I knew was too big, by site this was noticeable. At this point I was just trying to contain my sarcasm to the...

Whether or not I am a customer eating at the restaurant or a door dasher helping get the companies food delivered, things can be done to enhance ANY experience. I ran into a VERY petty worker while I was dashing. It was late at night. As a little lady who has been harassed at night, I sometimes prefer to not have to step out of my vehicle if the convenience of an empty drive thru is there. The line was basically empty except for one car that was already at the window when I showed up. I pull into the drive thru because it’s late. I ask for the order and the drive thru worker proceeds to tell me “Unfortunately we can’t hand you the order through the drive thru. You have to come inside.” Unfortunate but no problem. I proceeded to sit in the drive thru line for almost 10 minutes because there was no way around the car in front of me. When they finally received their food and left, the young man proceeded to lean out the window and just stare as I was passing by. No words, just a glare. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I walked into the establishment and he pops around the corner “You here for the door dash order?” And picked it up from a counter literally 2 ft away from the drive thru window. OBVIOUSLY. It was my mistake for going through the drive thru but any establishment I’ve gone thru the drive thru has never denied me the food and told me I MUST come inside. The food was 2ft away and he couldn’t do more than just glare at me. Maybe “I apologize for you getting stuck in this line for so long, I have the order literally right here, but for future reference, please come inside next time”. Laziness and pettiness. Maybe I’m exaggerating but after working in the restaurant industry for 8 years, I just know he could’ve been a lot better about it instead of glaring at me like it was inconvenient that I was passing through and he has to do his job. Because of this experience, I’ll never return to eat or work with this...

I went here to get some great Mexican food on my lunch hour. I was willing to pay a little more for quality food and that’s what I was told I would get here. They were mostly wrong. The tacos are a finely shredded beef which is awesome; if they put any in the taco. I was given what I would equate to a pencil size portion like as if it was a fingers worth along the bottom of the shell. Now the shell is a fried corn shell which is my favorite; when it is not burned so hard it falls apart when you touch it. The rice is a little dry and that is cool cause that’s how most traditional rice is. The flavor and spice of the rice is so so. The only saving grace and reason I even gave two stars is for two reasons. ONE, the beans are fantastic!!! The best I have ever eaten out. My wife is Hispanic and her mom and grandmother from Texas make the most amazing beans so I usually don’t get beans do to the 99% disappointment rate, but these blew my socks off! TWO, they serve Mr. Pibb. For those of you unfortunate souls who have not drank this nectar of the Gods, Mr. Pibb is Dr. Peppers better looking older brother who is a bad boy lol. They only sell this in Texas, but some places will serve it. You can’t find this anywhere! Now I updated this to three stars considering I went back later and the tacos were not burnt but still not much meat at all they are super stingy with it. The price is the cherry on the cake for a dislike here, because for two flat tacos in a burnt shell, with so so rice and amaze balls beans and a drink you will pay $15-$16 dollars and that’s that you get your own refills etc. restaurant pricing with McDonald’s level service is not cool in my book. I can get similar food at the taco shops of any berto I throw a rock at and won’t pay over $10 and that’s with heaping portions of rice and beans. My overall rating on a thumbs up or...

I have eaten at some burros quite a bit and generally great food and great experience. Decided to order online and pick up through drive thru, also decided to try the Mexican pizza for the first time and when I got home 1 mile away, I was surprised to find a Denti Moore style beef stew souping up what looks like some sort of tortilla. Very disgusting and no way to eat at as there were no utensils in the bag or even a straw for the beef stew soup. The manager did email me and apologized for my having a bad experience. It’s nice to see a company willing to go above and beyond, apologize and make efforts to rectify a situation. Thank you Star rating was changed from 2 to 4

I'm struggling. The reviews for Someburro don't even closely match my experience. I ordered natchos. More like NOT-chos. This is not nachos. It's also not a good funny version of them. So take at least a 🌟 off for that. Now lets talk about the NOT-chos. Well the fried tortilla lacks flavor or depth. The beans are bland. The cheese was weak. the tomatoes were lackluster. The Jalapenos, were average. So all of that is at least a 🌟 off. Plus i had to wait about 10 minutes and it wasn't busy. This means the food was Fresh, and still managed to disappoint. I won't return. If this is your idea of Nachos, we can't be friends.

Someburros was fine. I enjoyed the chips and salsa, the food took around 25 minutes to come out which seemed excessive for a fast casual spot that wasn’t busy. Service was friendly on ordering. I had the Machacha beef, egg, and potato burro. It was fine both ends took a few bites to get into any of the filling. Did like you can tell they use real eggs in it. My wife had the asada breakfast burro with a side of sour cream. Glad she ordered the sour cream to use some on mine as well as a little dry. It was fine we won’t be back but could have worse food in the price range.
