North Bible Church — Attraction in Scottsdale

We were going to be visiting the area and so I looked in advance for a church to attend on Mother's Day. 💐❤️ The criteria were that it has to be biblically sound and not have gone "woke" during covid. I won't mention the others that I considered which then I eliminated as possibilities bc I read some not so good things about them from the low ratings of things like pastors who kept the church closed (much longer than even the State of AZ required), etc.

This church was great and so welcoming. We got there right on time, but not early so the worship was starting. The lady at the info booth welcomed us warmly and got our info for my kids to go to Sunday school after the worship part of the service. The worship team was engaging without being "showy," and effectively led the congregation to focus on worshipping the Lord. They only sang about 3 songs and then Pastor Allen spoke on Ancient ways for Modern families: Flourishing. It was a really good message that was applicable to real life and most of all memorable too (if you can't remember what you heard, you can apply it). I even took notes and sent them to my hubby.

After service, we went to the gathering room where there were a little bit of sweet treats left (there was a lot for mother's day it seems) and a few people came up and chatted with us. The minute we stepped into North Bible Church, I knew we would call this our church home. The outpouring of love and community cannot be matched. Everyone that we have met is genuinely happy to see you and want to know more about you. They are very personable and real. You can just feel love in the room. It's very heartfelt. This is not only from the staff, but the congregation as well. Everyone deeply cares about their church family. I also love how this is a Bible centered church. We fell in love with North right away. The instant feeling of home and welcoming hits you as soon as you walk into the doors. The greeters, staff, pastors and other church goers are so genuine. It feels like a family!!

Our family “shopped” churches before finding North. There was no looking back!

I love that every Sunday we walk in and it truly feels like that days sermon and talks were meant for us.

I grew up in two different churches and never felt like I knew the Bible and its teachings. North changed that for me. I love that they teach from the Bible and really pull that home to everyday life.
