We arrived here at approximately 230pm on a Thursday afternoon. It was not too busy and we were seated right away. We were able to make their happy hour and enjoyed reduced pricing on a generous happy hour menu. Or meal started with their seasoned edamame. It was DELICIOUS! I've had other seasoned edamame that I thought was good, but this one was even better and with a nice kick. Yum! We enjoyed it with sake and a beer. We tried different sushi rolls. All delicious and fairly priced. I would have liked a little more attentiveness. It took a bit of time to get the ginger and wasabi for our meal. They didn't bring it at the beginning as normal. And it also took us a bit to get our check. However since it was my first time, for all I know it could have just been an off day for them. Even with that, when they were serving us, they were nice and not rude so, I still give them high stars. Oh!! And if you're celebrating a birthday, they turn on the disco lights and sing happy birthday. It wasn't ours, but you can bet we sang along!! How fun!!! Honestly, the service wasn't a deal breaker. I'd still go back again for the food and the happy hour pricing. I trust the service will be great...

Worst service I’ve ever experienced. Would give zero stars if I could! There were 7 people in my party because my sisters and I came from the Bay Area to celebrate our aunts 98th birthday. There were 2 meals served, then later another meal was served and then later another 2 more meals were served and by that time the first 2 people were done eating their meals. I finally walked up to a waitress (because no one would acknowledge us trying to get their attention) and told them we had been sitting for a lil over an hour and still hadn’t received the last 2 meals. I was told the meals were coming out. One of the meals was served but not the last meal, which was mine. And by this time the 5 people had finished their dinner and 1 had just started eating her meal (which was sashimi that was served over ice which made the sashimi hard) so I told the waitress to cancel my order! Needless to say we will not going back there nor recommend this place to...

This is the best sushi place I have ever eaten at. the sex on the beach sushi was absolutely delicious. happy hour is from 2:30 to 5:00 pm and the prices during happy hour are great. some of the menu items are a little different and the names are different but it was worth carfully reviewing. The costomer service lost the fifth star. We came in during a very slow service and the happy sweet soft comforting voice of the waitress just wasn't there. I would have to say the guy behind the bar was very freindly. overall as I said before this was the best sushi restaurant I've been to so over look the slight downgrade in service and try this amazing food. I will come back in a few months to see if the customer service has improved if so I will definitely give out 5 stars. Update... It earned it's last star great customer service and...

If I could give .5, I would give 4.5. We stopped by coz of our sushi cravings. The fish was super fresh. Tommy the chef recommended us to order form the board, the fresh fish of the day. And he didn’t disappoint us. I was so into the nigiri and so I forgot to take some pictures. My personal favourite was hamachi, it melt in my mouth. My hubby’s favourite was aji, because it’s really fresh. So good that my hubby got the 2nd order. We both liked the black snapper. Very fresh. The blue fin had very nice colour and texture too. It’s definitely a place for you to visit. Just be aware the prices for the fresh Japanese fish are slightly higher. Personally we think it’s worth it. Of course only if you always look for good quality of sushi. We will come back some time later to visit the friendly chef Tommy.

We were in town for a basketball tournament and picked this place since it was close to our hotel and had great reviews. Let me just say the sushi here is legit. We live in the Bay Area where there are tons of sushi spots, but honestly, most of them aren’t that impressive. This place blows them all away. The yellowtail was super fresh and meaty. The lobster roll won the best roll of the night and is packed with flavor. I also noticed that every dish coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. They clearly care about presentation. Service was great too. Overall, this spot is tough to beat. Not bad at all for a sushi joint in a strip mall! Definitely recommend checking it out.
