The Beach House is Seal Beach’s crown jewel—an enchanting spot that offers more than just a meal; it’s an experience. Whether it’s breakfast with the family, a chic lunch with friends, or a romantic dinner under the stars, this is the kind of place that’s perfect any time of day. Honestly, you could just show up for the ocean breeze, but the food? That’s where the magic happens. The menu is a masterpiece, crafted with something for everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for seafood, fresh salads, or comforting classics, they’ve got you covered. Their Beach House Burger is, without exaggeration, a revelation. Grilled to absolute perfection, every bite is a symphony of juicy Angus beef, arugula, and melty Swiss cheese, all held together by a pillowy challah bun. I’ve been in the U.S. for over a month, and let me tell you, this burger reigns supreme. It’s hands down the best I’ve tasted so far—and trust me, I’ve had my fair share of burgers. My friend ordered the Solid White Albacore Tuna Sandwich, and it was equally divine—fresh, flavorful, and a lighter option that didn’t skimp on satisfaction. And don’t even get me started on their drinks menu. Whether you’re craving a refreshing cocktail, a glass of wine, or something more adventurous, their offerings are extensive and expertly crafted. Bonus points for the bartender, who’s not just a master mixologist but also one of the friendliest and most engaging individuals you’ll meet. The Beach House also delivers on coffee, which, let’s be real, is often overlooked in restaurants like this. But here, it’s bold, smooth, and exactly what you need to complement your meal. Beyond the food, the ambiance is unbeatable. With stunning ocean views, it’s the perfect backdrop for sunset dining or just relaxing with a drink in hand. The service is top-notch too—attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making your experience unforgettable. In short, The Beach House has it all: exceptional food, impeccable service, gorgeous views, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s where your best memories are made. Go ahead and make your reservation—you can thank me later.

Super bummed! Made reservations a month in advance for my sisters graduation! Called the day before to confirm an OUTSIDE table for 12 people when we got there they said we said inside, which we did not, and said if we wanted a table outside we had to wait and it will be “very tight and uncomfortable”. Our table was definitely given to the party before us just getting there. Not the biggest deal, the inside was very open, and it was right by the window which was beautiful! We had a new server who was in training, who was absolutely wonderful, and the trainer. Ordered a Bloody Mary and made it VERY clear I have a shellfish and dairy allergy. First Bloody Mary brought by the trainer, had shrimp, they took it back, the next one she said let me know if it’s wrong again I’ll take it back? Had cheese on the garnish. I’m not someone to send something back to the kitchen, I have worked in restaurants for 10 plus years and wouldn’t mind just pulling it out, but due to my allergies I can’t take a chance. When I explained yet again this was wrong the trainer server seemed annoyed which was frustrating because it was due to an allergy which I made super clear when I FIRST ordered the drink! Mistakes happen and it was busy, but allergies are definitely something that should be taken a little more seriously! Appetizers were ordered for the table which came fairly quick, then we waited 45 minutes before ANYONE came to take our order and refill waters. Then the trainer came to take order I ordered a burger, no bun, NO CHEESE, with fruit. Due to ALLERGY I made sure I said. Food took an hour to come out, not one person came by to check on us. When the trainer server came to drop off food, my burger was last to be brought out with CHEESE. At this point I was so nervous to even ask to switch something out because they obviously don’t take allergies seriously at all and I really didn’t want to get sick.

Once I told her it was wrong and just to bring the bill she grabbed the plate and walked away, didn’t apologize, or see if I wanted a replacement or if I wanted it remade. She had the NEW server bring our bill and didn’t come back to the table after that. Again I have worked in restaurants 10 plus years. I understand a busy day and mistakes, but not once not twice, 3 times they messed up on an order I made clear to say with my allergies and to be rude about it is so upsetting!

It’s a beautiful restaurant, great location, the rest of the party enjoyed the food, just wish the staff we had today did a better job communicating important allergies and better...

My spouse and I decided to rather for our 10 year anniversary. I had made reservations a few days in advanced which was a breeze. When we arrived, I informed the hostess we had a reservation for two people and she looked around outside. She spotted a table and took us to it. The table had three place settings and a “reserved” sign on it. She removed one of the place settings and the reserved sign and we sat to have our dinner. I had noticed a two top table inside the restaurant rather than on the patio and requested we move there because the table we were at was right by the two speakers mounted on the wall that was blaring music. Keep in mind, this was within a minute of us sitting down and before our server came over. I was told “no we can’t move anyone” by the same hostess who sat us. It was clear to me she didn’t even know where to put us in first place so it wasn’t like we were supposed to be at a four top table. But I sucked it up and stayed at the table we were given as I could make it through.

We had ordered the steak bites for an app. It took them a while to come out which was understandable because they were busy. It also appeared our server had more than a usual amount of tables to serve. When the steak bites came out, they were not as hot as they should have been and they were overcooked. Other than that, they were delicious.

While waiting for our main course we had noticed some issues occurring with the staff. Some of the staff appeared to be angry with the hostess that sat us. They were even passing a cell phone around speaking to someone on it. The last person who was on that phone was the hostess who sat us. So I’m. It sure if she knew what she was doing and was spoken to by a boss over the phone or what.

Additionally, my spouse ordered the salmon which was supposed to come with mashed potatoes. Approximately 10-15 minutes before our entrees came out, one server approached another directly behind us and told that server that they were out of mashed potatoes. When our entrees came out, his had rice. No one had come him to see if he wanted something different, they just automatically gave him rice. When we asked our server about it, she said she could get him a baked potato. First of all, this should have been asked in the first place. Secondly, if you have baked potatoes , why don’t you have mashed potatoes?

In conclusion, the food was really good! Our server was doing her best and was pleasant, but appeared to be overworked. The staff seemed to be having an off day. But I would for sure come...

Overall, this is a great place for ambience and location. The service that I received was excellent. The atmosphere is very good. There was no entertainment at the time of my visit. I really did enjoy going to this location. A very positive shout out I need to give to my server. He was very open to hearing my comments on the food, and definitely made note of what I pointed out and told me that he was going to bring it up to management. Having said that, let’s talk about the food. I ordered two appetizers and two beers. The calamari and the mushroom soup. I expect to pay a premium at a location like this right on the sand, as I know the overhead is expensive. I also know that if you place something on a menu in a location like this, you should be giving a strong quality product to attract a return clientele. The calamari came out and it was saturated with a fair amount of oil. Not the type of oil you add flavor with, but just oil that it was fried in. The calamari itself tasted OK but there was absolutely nothing exceptional or special about it. I would compare it to a bag of frozen calamari you can get at any grocery store. The mushroom soup was watery, It did have flavor, but if you’re going to serve a mushroom soup and it is not an Asian-based soup which can be very delicious. Then a mushroom soup usually has a cream base by any cooking standards. This one did not, it was thin on density with a watery like consistency. At the end of the day, based on what this restaurant is, and what I believe they’re going for, I think they missed the mark on both of these appetizers. I looked around at some of the other plated items that people were ordering around me. I listened to what people were saying and overall I came up with the opinion that the food was good, but could’ve been improved definitely. There were other items I saw that food did look to the standards of the restaurants vision as far as entrées go. So, my overall review is that this is a really nice place for a scenic sitting, but if you are going to be eating, the food can be raised a few marks. The price on the drinks is going to be a little higher than your average beer or cocktail. I will return to this establishment, if only for the atmosphere and drinks, if I find myself in the area. At this point, the beach house does not make me want to go out of my way as you can eat at many places along the coast that will give you better marks in all of the...
