McDonald's — Restaurant in Sealy

I arrived at 7:05 am . No other vehicles except one other vehicle. I placed my order and pulled up to first window, I gave worker my card and she said my total was $ 5.41 .. I said no my order was about 28 dollars. I explained to her what I ordered.. she looks even more confused?!? And says here’s your card back. And gave me a receipt with the wrong order.. I asked her can you credit me back on my card?? This is the wrong order you charged me.. she says well the other driver he upfront has your order .. I asked again can you credit me back $5.41 and then charge me for my actual order please.. she looked frustrated and annoyed with me.. then says go inside.. Go inside I asked ? Where ? I said okay . I’m going inside to get my order fixed.. I went inside and stood at the counter and was ignored for several mins… . I finally said hello !! I as told to come inside.. can someone help me ? then a senior citizen employee attempted to take my order , however was hard of hearing.. I asked for the manager,, he calls her over.. the manager looked annoyed, she asks how can I help you ? I explained what had happened in the drive thru .. she said “ Well that happens sometimes “. I asked about the refund on my card and she proceeded to put the refund on my card.. then completed my order .. I explained that her teenage crew work ethic is great compared to the morning crew she had on staff this morning.. she says well that’s the way it is.. and walked away.. this other crew worker tossed my order on the counter along with my creamer.. placed coffees on counter with the biggest attitude ever. Im disappointed at the manager and crew staff from today 9-17-24. This whole ordeal was over 35 mis long. .. they were not busy and literally no one else there except the other driver that got his order screwed up too. I...

I gave this McDonald's location a lesser review about a year ago. There has been an improvement. The service has gotten better with much shorter wait times. There is not a playground for the children, which is what truly made McDonalds great when I was a child. The restaurant is now fully staffed... but the employees they hired are illegal. Because I actually know some of them as friends. I don't blame McDonald's for this. As you cannot hire Americans to do this job, you must resort to poor immigration policies of the federal government to hire illegal immigrants. Also blame the federal government for paying Americans to put out zero work. There is plenty of work out there, is just that lazy Americans refuse to work when they can be like, feed like an animal at a zoo. Update, I waited about 8 minutes today in a short line for 6 cheese cheeseburgers. Maybe they messed up the order or are short staffed on employees. Overall any McDonald's restaurant floats my boat. I can still get 6 cheeseburgers for the same price or less than a value meal these days. 3 for me, 2 for my older daughter and 1 for youngest. Great deals can be had here if you you don't pig out Update. The service is bad. You will not get a receipt with your purchase. I waited 10 minutes for a receipt, but no receipt was given. I had asked for a manager or supervisor, they must have been preoccupied. I was saving the photo given photo for a supervisor or manager. The story is, I was picking up food for a friend. I gave him his meal and there was a shred of plastic in his burger. Instead of letting the manager know their quality control is bad, I will just post photo here. There was confusion in the food preparation area because of lack of proper English...

I normally don’t write reviews especially FAST FOOD places! But this is hands down the WORST place. The food is great the atmosphere is hit or miss and cleanliness is good never had issues! But when it comes to SERVICE if you have no plans and don’t mind sitting in the drive thru line or even waiting at the front counter for 15-45 mins I recommend NOT COMING HERE! I come to this location DAILY cause of my kid. But I’m refusing to do that anymore after 5 years it wasn’t terrible back then but within the past 3 years the service gets SLOWER!!! Also they have 2 lines why skip the outside lane and let everyone on the other side keep going ! If that’s the case then don’t have but one lane! I have experienced super friendly people and lazy, rude ones as well…. I don’t know if it’s new management or just lack of don’t care! But numerous times I have waited either inside or drive thru and it’s the same time frame they walk past you like you’re not even standing there for 10-20 mins ! When other customers complain about how slow they are you would think they would fix it! Also you get large fries you basically getting a medium! Why not fill it up like it should be I waited 25 mins for fries why not give me what I paid for since I was waiting on fries!!!

Like I said I never write reviews but personally this is becoming such an issue/ pain especially if you’re in a hurry or on time frame! Shouldn’t be called McDonald’s more like...
