DO NOT GO TO THIS BEECHERS LOCATION!!!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!
I gave them a chance to make this horrible situation good, sent an email, it has been 3 weeks, NOTHING!!! SeaTac Beecher's is the WORST!!!! I have gone to Beechers in other airport, Chicago, RI, and many times at the SLC location and have always had wonderful food, and great service. Not only did I NOT get that at SeaTac, but they are SHADY!!
My flight was cancelled, and I was put on another flight for the next day. I also was given these vouchers on my phone for food. So of course I go to my favorite place, Beechers just before my flight the next day. My kiddo had already given me $20 towards a large container that I used, and was going to use half the vouchers we were given for the rest of the food, as they wanted to go to another place to eat a real breakfast. Bad Egg.... but that's another review.
I am legally blind and, in a wheelchair, I think this is important to know, as I could not a) go through the line, not wide enough for a wheelchair. B) the cashier is set up right in front of a pillar that makes the already small opening, even smaller.... this is important for later when I am paying.
Every time I fly, I go to my local Beechers in the SLC airport. I always get the 16 oz and it will last me for a few meals. I went to Beechers in the SeaTac airport. I bought my normal 16 oz, but bought 3 of them to share with others. I should have questioned the weight of the bag she handed me, but it was getting close to my flight, my gate was in another terminal, and I still had to go over to where my kiddo was and pay for their meal with the vouchers on my phone. It wasn't until I got home, after our Beechers in SLC Airport had closed that I noticed that the containers were the smaller 8 oz ones, there were only 3 of those. To add insult to injury, they were only about half to 3/4 full, not up to the top like normal. All together, I think I could have fit all the mac and cheese into one 16 oz container and have room left over! I then had someone check my receipt, and not only did I get charged for three 16 oz, but also for something else... that wasn't even in the bag, nor had I ordered!! Then, I paid $20 cash my daughter had given me for some, and the rest I paid for with online vouchers (that are on my phone) that were $12 each...Since the large pillar was in my way, I had to hand the woman my phone. she massively overcharged me. The receipt said that I was supposed to get $17 cash back, which is not what I had told her. First take the cash off, then the vouchers for the remaining. I never did get cash back because I was not expecting any. $80 for 3 partially filled small containers! TOTALLY got ripped off in so many ways!!!
I think they saw the blind woman coming and took advantage of me when I handed her my phone so she could scan the code or punch in the numbers. Being visually impaired I have to trust that people are good, fair, honest and can be trusted. 99% of the time, they are.... but occasionally there are unscrupulous people, like this woman who checked me out. I do not feel this many errors was a mistake, I feel she purposely took advantage of me. Beechers should NOT have an unscrupulous woman like that representing their wonderful product. I have been a loyal Beecher's customer for years, and have never had this happen! But what if she had done this to someone trying Beechers for the first time? They would never come back and tell the world how horrible Beechers is..., when it was just the terrible actions of one person. She should not be working for them OR maybe this one location is horrible and they all are shady!
I see they have a VERY low rating, so maybe this is a common practice at this location. NOT a common practice at all the other locations I have visited. Also, I sent an email to them 3 weeks ago about this and have heard absolutely NOTHING from them. NOTHING!!! I gave them a chance to make this right, they did not.... so they get my honest and horrible review.

Read moreBeecher’s is a name I heard a lot when looking for good food in Seattle. Since they have airport locations, I decided to get some here. Service is pretty slow as others mentioned, but I wasn’t in a huge rush so it was fine. I ordered a small cup of their famous Mac and cheese and a flagship grilled cheese. They scooped my Mac and cheese and gave it to me immediately, which was nice in that I could eat it while I waited for the sandwich.
The mac and cheese is definitely a tiny portion size for the price, especially so when you consider it’s just cheese and penne with nothing else mixed in. The taste wasn’t very impressive. The cheese also had a very grainy/sandy texture which I was not a fan of. The sandwich was better. The cheese worked well with the bread and the other toppings added some nice flavor hits. However, it was also pretty pricy for the size.
All in all it was a $23 meal that did not leave me feeling full or satisfied. Now I can say I’ve tried Beecher’s, but I probably...
Read moreIt looks exactly like the other Beecher’s counter at Terminal C so I figured the one here at Terminal N wouldn’t be any different. I always treat myself to Beecher’s when passing through SeaTac. However, my most recent visit was a real let down.
I ordered the Kimchi Melt (Firefly Kitchen’s Kimchi, Flagship cheese and Just Jack cheese) and well…it was no melt. It needed a lot more time on the grill. The cheese wasn’t melted the slightest bit and the bread was hardly toasted. Furthermore, the kimchi looked old. It tasted alright, but just really unappealing to the eye. I did order an 8 oz. Classic Mac & Cheese which was amazing as ever. It’s saved the meal.
I’m not sure if I just ordered the wrong item, or if it’s the location. The staff was incredibly friendly for airport employees. I’ll probably give this place another shot just out of convenience, but this first visit was...
