Denny's — Restaurant in SeaTac

I ordered my food online for pick up and I went to go pick it up just for them to tell me they gave my food away to a door dasher without verifying it. Why would you give my curbside order to a man on DoorDash thats not named lusi?!?! Why didn’t they verify if SMFH Then they didn’t want to remake my food or even refund me! They had a chance to fix it by just apologizing and remaking my order but instead gave me an attitude and told me to call the curbside number like it was my fault for their mistakes! But no apology and they didn’t care to fix the mistake they made! waited a hour just for you guys to give it away! The man and woman kept saying it wasn’t their problem but im more upset they had an attitude about it! They just ruined my day! I live near by but never will I come here again I rather drive farther to ihop lol bye! ✌🏻

UPDATE AS OF 05/16/24: I’ve called numerous times for my refund and still no refund. I also emailed back since owner responded to my review so quick and still no reply to my email. I like to be prompt please own up to this matter and just refund me. You have time to respond to every review on here (probably paid or fake reviews) so quickly but don’t have time to refund me or respond to my calls and emails. I’m still upset that they were mad and talking to me like I’m a child like it was my fault you guys gave my food away to a door dasher without verifying whose order it was! If your employees was really sincerely sorry they would’ve just remade my food since my kids was in the car waiting for an hour. But they chose to NOT remake it. I can also send the video of how they reacted to you directly or post on here of their little attitudes, whatever you prefer! since you have not responded to both of my emails I thought you would respond to this...

After our experience this evening, our group was truly disappointed with the overall service. And myself personally, this has been the most dissatisfying service I have ever received in any restaurant setting.

My group understood that the Holiday menu was limited which we were fine with. Our group wanted desserts, but the location was “out of stock.” But once my friend started asking about certain items, the server got defensive with us. She truly was asking for clarity, but the server took it the wrong way and made it known to our table for the rest of the evening. For instance: we were asking what milkshakes were available; since we saw another table with one, we were asking if they still had that one specifically in stock. The server said they had no time to make it for us as it was a busy evening. We would’ve been okay to wait, but the server insisted it would have taken too long and that there’s too many people. However, a table next to us who were seated AFTER us ordered a milkshake and was served within minutes of waiting.

Another disappointing occurrence was we had asked for chocolate chip pancakes with the bananas. The server forgot and asked towards the end if were still waiting for anything, so we reminded them about the chocolate chip pancakes with bananas and whipped cream. We received two plain pancakes with chocolate chips dropped on top with no banana and a very poor amount of whipped cream. The server also handed it to our table with slight aggression like they were irritated.

All of this sprouting from the simple questions of, how come other tables were served milkshakes and we weren’t..

If I could give this place no star I would. We had a party of 5. Right when we walked in no greeting or check in nothing. We finally got the attention of a waitress after waiting for about 5-10 min to that she said we would have to wait because there were no seats yet we saw a booth open. We insisted we can fit in a booth so we could get seated. Once arriving to the table we were fairly quick too choosing what we had wanted to eat and we ready go place an order. We ordered 2 coffees which arrived cold , not even warm, 2 lumber jack breakfast plates and asked for the bacon to be crispy , they were in fact no where near crispy, no toast was brought out, and we were missing a order of hot cakes. We then ordered 6 eggs and hash browns for another person at the table to which they only gave us 2 eggs. Finally our last order was a sandwich and instead of fries we wanted to substitute it for hash browns … guess what… ding ding ding, didn’t get hash browns. Everything that was wrong we told the waitress to which she proceeded to give attitude so instead of wasting my time I talked to the manager… not what you call a manager what so ever. He argued, made excuses, the waitress proceeded to come up to us and get in my face and argue when she clearly was wrong beginning with not listening in the first place. We told the manager we would not be paying for the food we did not eat or receive. To which he still wanted to argue until he got frustrated and just agreed.
