I am here for more pinoy restos! Ordered at around 0810 on a Friday morning at their store front in Tukwila. All the tables in the back, were already taken except for the front four tables. I came here on my lunch break so I was crunched for a 30 minute window ~ the gal who took my order also gave me my food once I sat down. She was extremely friendly! Food came out within six minutes, yes..I timed it! Drink was about four minutes…and I came in after the four families that came in before me (:
So maybe if you come in with work clothes and by yourself &* sit near the front, you’ll get served first ~ Ordered the hash with calamansi drink!
Side note for the business (not related to the food quality/ or location): I would say that the two pinoys who looked like they were counting money on the tables next to me (appeared to be the owners) were separating the tips for staff- I saw a list of names with sum quantities next to their names- (just being presumptuous)…were not friendly and did not greet me nor tell me anything once I left. One looked like they were punching in things on the front register once done counting the monies… But hey I could be wrong, it was a guy with glasses and a woman with medium length hair, definitely in comfy clothes not work attire. I guess counting money is stressful? Meh. Not for me to decide! :p
Just a friendly message for them if they are reading this… be WELCOMING and HUMBLE if you want more pinoy support from your community! Don’t be so stuck...
Read moreI ordered two drinks, a sandwich, and a muffin too and it was about $35, so when the barista gave me my $10 drink and it tasted off I asked if she put the sweetener in. She snapped at me and told me it was there and it was sweet already. I told her it tasted off and asked if it could be remade. She snapped at me and I told her it’s not a big deal, I don’t think you put the half n half/sweetened condensed milk in. To which she replied she did. She ended up remaking my drink and it was right. I left my old drink I did not want on the bar because all they had was a tiny trash can near by and I thought it would be rude to put a full cup of liquid in the trash. She then hollered over to me to clean up my mess and throw it away to which I replied I didn’t think you’d want a full cup of liquid in the trash. She then yelled at me to walk it to a bigger trash then refused to tell me her name.
This didn’t need to be a big deal, the other drink in my order was non fat milk, I’m pretty sure they used that in my Thai tea instead of the blend they were supposed to. I just really didn’t appreciate how the employees treated me over something so simple and...
Read moreI had several hours between flights and was drawn to this place by the advertisements around terminal D. Tucked away in a quiet offshoot of Terminal D, it was the perfect place to get a great drink and relax in a quiet and comfortable place. Everyone sitting around me were employees of either an airline or the airport so the local staff have all been drawn to this place because of the great drinks, snacks, and awesome employees. The employee working the day I was there might have been the owner. She was super nice, knew many of the folks stopping by and called them by name and even remembered my name when I stepped back to the counter before leaving. I wish I could visit more often but I don’t fly through SEA very often. Definitely a place I would recommend for anyone looking for coffee, tea, or a light snack. Oh, and my drink was ready quickly too and you can call ahead so your order can be ready when...
