I wish I could give this place negative stars.
I have to admit that everything from the moment we walked into the restaurant on Saturday it was bad. Server didn't get anything right ,didn't know if you had iced tea even! Then tried to card the 17year old for a margarita pizza! After repeating back our whole order and the specifics it all came out wrong! And he forgot the pizza entirely!! We had to wait until end of meal for her to get her food. Then once we had to tell him it was wrong there was no I'm sorry or anything or offer of a discount or remake! No ketchup offered for the fries I didn't order, no sauces offered,no water refill, no anything!
I wouldn't have been as mad but I had friends from Arizona in town and it was super embarrassing. And also you don't accept the Groupon we bought minutes before we arrived?! And they are still sold on Groupon as we speak?
I have worked in service industry for years( bartending, serving, management, busser, etc) so I'm not a stranger to how anything is done. We were only people in the place so it couldn't be because they were busy. And to top it off they charged me x5!!!!!
That was over $500 of charges!!! They fixed it a few days later ,but not before I had over draft fees and fees for automatic payments on other things. Photo is of my medium rare steak. Looks...

Beyond Thankful Bad Albert's survived the pandemic as all continue to struggle to keep restaurants afloat is so very challenging, especially in today's times. They struggle to keep the doors open for their employees & guests, work their tails off, For Us. Seattle has lost so very many many restaurants, and when we loose a Seattle Gem, it's like losing your best friend. May we support these places with tender kindness, care & understanding, especially Bad Albert's, I am always amazed by the delicious food, great price & good fun. I used to live above Bad Albert's & I miss them so much! The Owner & Employees are always so good to all their guests. Life without these gems is a dull life indeed. What if all we ever had was our own dining room table? The younger generation may not understand quite yet. I hope one day they do. May we appreciate these amazing restaurant houses that do so very much for us. Bad Albert's & the Ave it lives on, Ballard Ave NW is a must see for visitors to Seattle! & In need of delish eats! Great price, casual fun, BA's is the place, it's at the Beginning of the Ave , pending on which way you're standing 😏 parking is much better ! Read moreFood was mid I had fish tacos. The tortillas were overcooked and the fish was hella spicy - I love spicy food - I wanna sweat if I order spicy but didn’t see it coming on the tacos topped with what tasted like tartar sauce. The description says spicy slaw but I assure you the fish was spiced not the slaw. I witnessed the cook wiping his nose with his shirt and not changing gloves in an open kitchen. service was also mid - much more interaction was given to the local bar fly homies than random people who came in. Nice selection of local beers on tap and a decent bottle list too. My first drink was a margarita- honestly the worst margarita I’ve ever had. I did enjoy the shipwreck IPA. I had to go to the bar to cash out because the servers were engrossed with the homies - didn’t feel welcome or appreciated. Don’t need a red carpet but do expect better service as someone who also serves...
