It pains me to write this review, but this place has lost its touch. After paying over $70 for a large and medium pizza, we waited well over an hour for our food. When we went to grab another beer, we checked on the pizza and were shocked to have two boxes handed to us. When asking how long it's been done for, we were told just a few minutes. It was lukewarm, so obviously that wasn't true. Our order was also "for here" and we got a number for our table, so why the to-go boxes and not letting us know it was done? The worst part - there was no apologies for the giant miss or even an acknowledgement. The pizza flavor was mediocre at best. Flavor was way off to what we normally expect and tasted like cardboard. To make it worse, we brought an out-of-towner here, boasting about the incredible taste this place used to offer. Overall the slices were tiny on the medium compared to the large, even though we paid up charges to split flavors. The pizza didn't reach the edges like usual, or like the large pepperoni. All in all, we will not be back. Tons of other pizza places offer better flavor, more attention to detail, and actual customer service. To reiterate, we were one of two parties in the restaurant at the time we ordered and we tried to be gracious, understanding they may be understaffed or busy with take outs but this simply pushed it too far.

If you are looking for a restaurant that both delivers in customer service and creativity, Ballard Pizza Company is the place. Nestled on an amazing street full of food and life, this restaurant invites you in with its amazing atmosphere, steller music selection and, of course, out of this world food. The great thing about this place too, is it sells some of their pizza by the slice, so if you're super busy, or, if you just want to sample first... Go for the slices. They also have a great wine selection to, ya know, feel super fancy (feeling extra fancy? Pop that pinky up while drinking... Trust me?) all in all, it's a great restaurant... With great food and humongous portions. Trust me... I'm Samoan. I live for the portions. It's big even with by my standards.

Absolutely stellar pizza and equally amazing environment and even better staff. Josh and his team provided an exceptional experience. As someone who eats pizza regularly this is far and away the best I’ve had in ages (certainly in Seattle), every bite was delectable. Highly recommend the Hawaiian with jalapeños. It had an olive oil base and a perfect twist to the generic slice (not Canadian bacon, but a tastier Italian spin). Crust was proper thickness, the ingredients ideally spread, and all of it done to perfection. Full heartedly, 100% recommend, you won’t be disappointed, enjoy 🤙

All across the board pretty “mid” as they say.

We were greeted and brought water promptly which was appreciated. We pretty immediately put in an order for the dynamite wings and burrata salad. After some time, the server came back and we also ordered a pizza. Given the delay between ordering, i anticipated we’d have some gaps between food, but everything came at once.

The best thing was the burrata itself, it was creamy and delicious but came with 6 half slices of mealy tomatoes which were both not ripe (they were extremely firm) but also clearly had been refrigerated for an extended period so their flesh had become that opaque white and flavorless taste which was bad.

They “dynamite” chicken wings had little flavor and were lukewarm at best. I think they had been sitting in a window somewhere for a while before they got to us.

Pizza was fine, the crust is fine as long as it has toppings on it, the crust by itself is way too dry otherwise.

So clearly won’t be coming back because of the food but it was also because of having to listen to an obnoxious person behind the line, a downfall of an open kitchen. He became noticeable to me when he was initially talking to another employee across the line in this way that just felt kind of snotty. He also thinks the sauce is bland, so heads up to management that you’ve got a guy on your line telling guests that the sauce is bland.

Not...

Nice layout, cool decor. Not really New York style, since I am from New York, but valiant effort. The ingredients are the same, but the salt and oil proportions on the Veggie Bomb, are a little on the heavy side. The crust was too chewy, like gum or caramel.

It took 25 to 30 minutes for a flat pizza to be made compared to 10 to 15 minutes at most New York style pizza joints I been to in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

I switched seats because the folks next to me were smelling very gamey. My waitress (this abrasive, sorta bossy tall girl with a pony tail) only haphazardly wiped my table and did not help me move.

Then, when it was over, I did not want to take it home because I could sense my blood pressure rose and the oil was clogging my passages. I attempted to whisper my distaste with her so the other store patrons could not hear, but she insisted rudely I speAK up. So at that point I didn't give AF. She did take half off my order, but it seemed a little forlorn since I only ate about 25% of it.

Otherwise, bathroom i used might have needed a scrub and a freshener. And most pizza places like this would have offered toilette for cleaning hands before and after eating.

Best part of this place was the cute server with the white shirt and hot pants working as an understudy to the bossy boots girl. I would have asked for her details but they were very busy and she was not serving...
