I highly recommend! I just recently got married 9/6/25 and instead of one giant obnoxious wedding cake I wanted individual cakes to be given out to the guests of my very small wedding party of 45. I reached out to Belle Epicurean when I discovered they have these baby cakes! A gorgeous mini two layer cake. If you've ever planned an event you can imagine how stressful it can be let alone your own wedding. Carolyn contacted me (who I later discovered is the owner) she was very delightful to work with. Every interaction was very genuine. It was clear to me she had my best interest in mind and the success of my event was also her focus. This allowed me to put complete full trust that they would deliver and they did! The cake she had suggested was an exclusive seasonal flavor however she allowed me to conduct a tasting of 4 different cake flavors. When I went to the bakery location regardless how busy they were the staff was very nice very professional! I myself work in customer service so I take that very seriously and they did not disappoint. I told them who I was and they knew exactly what I was there for which made for an easy pickup! Though all the cakes were delicious the seasonal flavor was a clear winner. After solidifying my order I did not have to worry. The cakes were delivered on time and the presentation was absolutely STUNNING!! I whole heartedly regret not taking a photo! I received so many compliments regarding that cake even weeks after my wedding. It made me very proud! Thank you so much to Carolyn and her staff for delivering the excellence and the quality, words can not express my gratitude!

Ps. and if you're wondering what the flavor of the cake was........

As someone who isn’t religious, I find reading the Serenity Prayer before entering this restaurant helps me brace for what lies ahead.

It amazes me that nearly every visit to this establishment involves a cascade of service failures at almost every point. Here’s a rundown of a typical visit:

When you arrive, it’s not uncommon to find a couple of employees casually chatting at the register. They’ll often ignore you as if you’re a rando who just walked up to them at their party.

Once they finally acknowledge your presence and begin interacting, there are rare moments when they are genuinely nice and helpful. However, more often than not, they seem to wish you were dead and had never left your house.

Prepare yourself for the likelihood that they’ll be out of at least one or two menu items, even early in the day. When you order these items, they’ll act annoyed and point out a sign way down there in the display case that you apparently missed.

As your order starts to come out, you might need to wait for the staff to finish their conversation about last night’s events before you can politely request a to-go bag for your multiple boxes.

After some more time your drinks will come out.

Finally, you'll likely have to wait once again for the employees to finish their story before reminding them about the pastry you ordered.

The food is good, but be prepared to roll with the punches, advocate for your order, and endure some some...

Zero stars isn't an option, so one will have to do. I ordered online since the location was close to us and they offered delivery. That was not the case, no delivery. That wasn't an issue so I opted to pickup. They were out of some items, but were willing to substitute, also not an issue and they did at least call me. When I arrived to pickup my order the two or three employees seemed very confused on what to package and where. Nobody was rude or negative in any way, but they just seemed to have little to no awareness. They really couldn't communicate to each other to box it up togo. All of the items, including breakfast sandwiches were simply in a pastry case to be either reheated upon request or had room temperature. Do not expect ANY QUALITY. The baked goods are clearly frozen mass produced items. The eggs resemble something closer to furniture slip mats. Even a McD egg looks more like a real egg. All of the other baked items were sad excuses for anything a bakery would produce. Had I walked in to order first I would be less upset as I simply wouldn't have purchased anything but a bottle of wine to take away. However I had ready paid online and what was done was done. Got it all home to reheat and was even more disappointing than previously thought. Save your money for...

I tried the turkey & goat cheese 'sandwich' (not in picture) on a brioche bun and while it tasted good, it was very small and not really a lunch menu sandwich. They didn't have it in the display case when I placed my order, otherwise might have chosen something else going by the size. Also tried one of the pastries which had a cookie base with a dark chocolate & grand Marnier ganache. It was rich, but the ganache was quite hard. The financiers were nice and the portions a lot bigger than the other pastries on display. We got seating immediately and the ambiance was nice. The food is on the pricier side and the portions small.

Great variety here, with many items that I've only seen at this bakery in the city. Each item had good flavor, but a few things in excess. Almost like comfort food I suppose. This is good for an occasion when you really want something fatty and sweet. The twice baked croissant could have used less grease, the ratatouille sandwich needed more veggies and less cheese and eggs, the quiche had a raw bottom, but the filling was light and airy. The triangle raspberry cake was good, but really heavy on the cream.

Used to be lovely. I haven’t been here in perhaps 2-3 years. I was sad to see so few options for croissant and pastries, as well their breakfast sandwich is $10, and seems fairly lean on elements in the sandwich. It seems quite overpriced. Ultimately I just got coffee on this visit. The barista was friendly. The cashier was seemingly distracted. Pricing was listed on about half of what little product was on display. There was no soap in the restroom.
