So, so, so close to perfection here.

In my opinion you can only judge a restaurant based on how well it achieves what it set out to do in the first place.

This isn't gourmet eating, it's not trying to be. Teriyaki Bowl is trying to be a classic, affordable teriyaki joint with fast service, cheap food, and generous portions.

I think it achieves these goals and then some. $12.00 buys you their standard teriyaki and rice dish, containing enough chicken and rice for two solid meals. You come in, place your takeout order, and the food comes to you, steaming hot, in under 5 minutes.

The chicken is cooked tender, the sauce is delicious, My only complaint is that, on a few occasions, my rice has been slightly undercooked. If that is fixed I'll happily bump this review...

I come in weekly to biweekly and grab myself a teriyaki chicken, a general Tao, a chicken katsu, or my recent favorite, Teriyaki Beef! The beef is extra tender, and I love the sweetness of the marinade they use.

The general tao is crispy, the sauce the right blend of garlic, soy sauce, and vinegar. They use actual chunks of chicken thigh. Don't like it when people sell fried batter.

Always get sizeable portion sizes for what you pay that usually can last me two meals. Shrinkflation is the worst, but I don't find that issue here.

Cashier is kind, and I will talk with them sometimes while I eat there.

This is my go-to teriyaki spot, and I drive from West Seattle to eat here. Always...

Worst teriyaki ever I have experienced. I ordered chicken&pork combo/prawn fried rice. Chicken&pork were so dry that I felt like chowing gum. Portion of meats was small but only full of rice. For fried rice, they use sticky rice which is worse for fried rice than jasmine rice. It was not even fully fried & just few prawns in it. They must use cheep frozen vegi which taste was terrible. I think I can make it better at home. Last of all, they were over-priced. I paid over $30 for those garbage food though it was via uber eats. Not recommend and will...

Great salmon teriyaki! The rice was cooked evenly and tasted good. Tried an egg roll too - tasty but a bit too-fried for me. Fish was great! My friend regularly gets chicken teriyaki here and I’m happy I had a chance to try this spot too. Service is quick and friendly! I’ll go back and try more. Thanks! It’s an easy location to get to. I’m not a huge teriyaki person but I enjoyed this meal and would go back. Very convenient.

VEGAN TOFU YAKISOBA, VERY VERY GOOD. THIS PLACE HAS MANY TASTY VEGAN OPTIONS. THE NOODLES AND THE TOFU'S WERE COOKED PERFECTLY. QUANTITY IS PLENTY AND THE VEGETABLES TASTED VERY FRESH. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK AND HAVE SOME MORE. EVERYONE IS FRIENDLY HERE AND SERVICE IS GREAT. IT'S LOCATED IN THE BEAUTIFUL MADISON PARK AREA.

Am a vegan and I had the brown rice with tofu teriyaki. Yum yum. Tofu was fried perfectly with a soft interior. Brown rice was super plump and chewy. Perfectly cooked. Salad was fresh with a delicious sauce. Portions were enough. Great location, great people, great food.
