Because of it’s proximity to my home, I used to go here often. Their coffee is good, but so are a lot of other places in Seattle. It’s also spacious, with many outlets, which also could be said of a lot of other places in Seattle. The thing is, I get a heavy sense of pretentious vibes coming from the staff. The music is often too loud, and the selection can be intrusive. I’m not talking banjo solo, fingernails on blackboard intrusive, but it likely appeals to a narrow demographic who “get it”.
