This is in reference to their new Renton location. Probably some of the best burgers in town!! Iâve been looking for a place around the area to get smash burgers and there isnât a lot of options that you donât have to drive far out for. My husband had the cheese burgers #1 and I had the simple smash burgers #2, with fries. The burgers were just greasy and saucy enough, with really yummy buns. Love the sma5h sauce. The fries are a huge portion so if eating between two people you could probably even just get one order of fries. Also the fries are well seasoned. Reasonable pricing for what take-out food is costing these days. Love that this place is open late. Bonus for me is that theyâre actually open on Easter, since it is a halal food location so that also was nice as most places are closed for that holiday. I discovered this restaurant from following Plate of Nations when only the Seattle location was open, but wasnât able to make it during the time frame of the Plate of Nations specials. I was able to come on the 4th day of this new location being open and they did a beautiful job with how they designed the restaurant and it was very clean. There is plenty of space to eat inside the restaurant if you choose to do so. I also like how simple the menu isâ not overwhelming with too many options of what to order. The service was pretty good. And it was nice that itâs attached to a shopping plaza, so there was ample amount of parking as opposed to a common complaint I was seeing online for their Seattle location. My husband and I look forward to coming back and making this a late night Sunday dinner option as there isnât a lot of late night dinner options in the area and this food...
Read moreI don't write reviews anymore, but because this place is new and a family owned place, I thought I'd go through some trouble.
I got the super SMA5H combo - it's important to note that I opted to get my burger without cheese so take the following with a grain of salt.
The burger was assembled well - similar to five guys, but more neat and with less grease. The veggies were fresh and crisp; I'd made special note of the grilled onions, they actually had some flavor to them but I was rather hungry so I didn't stop to really taste them much.
The patties were flavorful without being over seasoned, juicy without making the bun entirely soggy, put together in a way that you knew it'd been done fresh by hand instead of frozen. The patties hold together ok, they don't fall apart when you pick up the burger but it does give you a sense that once you pick up the burger, you shouldn't put it back down.
The fries disappointed me at first - they weren't as crispy as I would have liked and I felt like the seasoning on them fell a little flat. Once I tried them with the sauce however, I was immediately satisfied. I'm not typically the sort of person to want to dip my fries, I like them dry, but at this place the sauce really does it for me.
Overall I would say that I'm satisfied with this place and will likely come again. They're true to their blurb about giving large portions at a cheap price and that's exactly what I've been looking for in my restaurants, particularly if they...
Read moreGood smash burger, all the guys in the group agreed. Our cousin from France really liked it and went back again before his return flight.
Brioche Bun
They recommend getting the super smash (double patty) but itâs too much meat for me and was too salty. The Simple Smash was a much better fit for me. Fries were good (suggest eating it there for freshness)
Parking lot was insane and super busy. Took forever trying to find parking. Itâs a very busy plaza so if you come at peak times, you can opt for street parking or park at the other plaza across.
Health dept rating is currently : OKAY rating Floors were super sticky and flies were flying around we had to swat them while eating. I had to minus stars for that.
Much greasier than an In-out burger. Itâs a diff style burger than In -n- out so my rating is based on comparing to other smash burgers.
Ask for more napkins because they barely give u any...
