Enat serves a huge portion of food for a great price and are generous with the injera. Even the gluten free injera! They served 3 pieces with a combo (not including the one on the plate, 4 total) and it was $24! This place is arguably one of the best food values in Seattle. You can easily feed 3 people on a single combo. The combo quality was okay, the meat was kind of tough and dry but well flavored. There are two portions of cabbage+potato, a spinach and a romaine salad. Had a side of shiro wot was good. They serve gluten free injera on request! It seemed fresh and was good. It’s the best Ethiopian restaurant for getting gluten free. There was no up-charge for us but not sure if that was the norm. The service was quick and friendly. They take Apple Pay.

First time ordering Ethiopian food and I ordered Green Chicken to go. The portion was HUGE and everything is freshly made. Taste wise very exotic and healthy. The lady at the Cashier was so nice and suggested that if I’m spicy sensitive I should go for the Green Chicken. It did not disappoint. Few minutes after ordering, my Dad came in looking for dessert for my Mom who is diabetic and needed something to spike her glucose up. I asked for the Mango drink. The Lady filled up the whole cup of pure Mango and added ice later as needed, then charged me for half the price of the original drink. A must visit if you’re in the Seattle Area! Definitely I will go back for more and try their other Menus. Thank you for being so nice!

Great experience taking our family too Enat Ethiopian restaurant! It was our first time having Ethiopian food in the manager was very friendly and told list two plates for all we need for four people and boy was she right we were so full of delicious food at the end of the meal! This is a very family-friendly meal we have the combo vegetarian and combo meet with gluten-free injera bread (made from teff grains). Are children loved tearing up the pieces of bread and eating with their hands grabbing food in the traditional way! Was only $27 for four people! I would highly recommend in planning to bring the grandparents there next time for an authentic dining experience.

I found the food fine and fabulous! I enjoyed the Vegetarian Combination, which was very good. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with my reception, which was rather icy. As a tourist from out of town, I was tempted to leave immediately as it seemed as if I was unwelcome. Unfamiliar with the restaurant's rules, I stood for what seemed to be an eternity, all while receiving what I thought to be hostile stares. Just as I decided to leave, a server approached, seated me, and provided a menu, with very little conversation. I felt uncomfortable and quickly ordered the vegetarian combination, which also arrived quickly. It was delightfully delicious and beautifully arrayed atop the Injera. It may just be a cultural thing, but it would be wise on the part of management there to be aware of travelers and tourists who should at the very least, be greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. Had things happened more happily, this experience would have been rated excellent. The only thing good about this visit was...

“Alert!!” 🚨 I was a regular visitor to this restaurant and I used to enjoy their delicious food...until I came to learn something horrific and gravely disturbing issue. Most of their employees inside the kitchen are elderly men and women, who came from Ethiopia and Eritrea to visit their children. The owner of the restaurant take advantage of the the elderly people’s lack of knowledge of local rules and pay them as little as $8/hr (in cash). The work is so laborious and often very unsafe, with wet surface and hot ovens scrambled in a tiny place. This is no less than grave human abuse and cheap labor exploitation taking advantage of ones’ age. If you decide to go there, remember that the food you eat there is prepared by the elderly who are being treated in a very inhumane way. With that, I call upon the concerned authorities to look in to this issue as soon...

Just the most bland Ethiopian food I've ever tasted. Hell, I didn't even know Ethiopian food COULD be bland until I came here! About the only thing that was tasty was the fried injara.

Not only the taste, there just wasn't the amount of food you'd expect for the price. Very sparse. I think a bit tip off that the place was going to not be impressive at all was that the only Ethiopians were drinking at the bar. You know the thing where if you see more Asians at an Asian restaurant, you know the food is good? Same thing applies with Ethiopian food.

Believe me, I hate writing one star reviews but it was auch a disappointment to try this place. Don't waste your time at Enat and go to Jebena just on the otherside of the building and across a street. I guarantee you all YOU WILL NOT BE...
