Brooooo this can’t be an avocado toast… like this was $7… Note for anyone reading: Responding with “your energy was challenging” cuz I asked for non fat milk is wild… like it’s a cafe. They also edited their response. I did nothing to incite that and maybe it’s possible that you created a tense environment and were stressed about someone asking for an alternative option… I guess that’s challenging?! An appropriate response would’ve been to just say sorry.. definitely not coming back Adding to this: What the owner didn’t mention is that I also spent $30 at their establishment. They were NOT attentive to my needs which further validates the lack of need to tip as literal students!!! Tip is optional also and this is literally a deli/ take- out place. We were not served in any way. .. you are charging $7 for a side of toast and a single tomato. and it’s based on excellence. Horrendous place I wish I could give it zero stars. I had to eat the sandwich as I had spent $30+ on this terrible experience. Also- you didn’t remember that well.. chai was hot not iced… shows the “attentiveness” Telling everyone I know to not go

This is just a small market with a deli. There are a few chairs out front but this is more of a take out sandwich spot. Nonetheless the sandwiches are super delicious! We will def be making this our go to sandwich spot when we want to picnic at Discovery park! We ordered the muffaletta and the Frankie's choice I think it was called with chicken and bacon avocado and havarti cheese on white bread. The muffaletta was not a traditional type as it was on its own baguette. From believer on the bread makes the sandwich and both sandwiches had soft bread and my muffaletta was a crispy outer with a soft inner. Absolute perfection! Can't wait to.come back!

This is a great hidden gem of a deli. I come here when ever I’m in this part of town or ill even drive my boat here for lunch. The firecracker sandwich is awesome. Another surprise about this place is the unique selection of steaks from local farms as well as the grocery items that look like they should be in an upscale market. This picture didn’t do the sandwich as much justice as I had hoped. But it does show the crisp outside and the meaty-saucy goodness inside

I went here for lunch while I was taking a class nearby. I have food allergies (gluten and dairy) so I was happy to see they had gluten free bread as an option. I got the Sofia sandwich on gf bread with no cheese and a small bag of chips, no drink. Pro: best sandwich I've had since developing allergies, it had flavor, even the gf bread which was a multi grain style. Con: about $12.50 for a small sandwich and small bag of chips! I wandered around the market and they have good healthy food, but all of it is significantly more than I pay for the same brands normally. I don't know if it's because they have a captive audience with the marina, or because Ballard is just more expensive, but I had sticker shock for sure. Very convenient if you dock your boat...
