My wife and I were on a weekend staycation in the South Center Mall area and came across Juju Caribbean restaurant while searching for something different to eat.
To our pleasant surprise not only was Juju's offering Caribbean food, but it is a Haitian food..(Yessssss). I have been looking forever for a restaurant serving Haitian food since moving to WA from Miami, Florida years ago.
By the way ...Yes , I am Haitian-American, if you were wondering; okay enough of that. The bottom line is the food my wife and I ordered was absolutely scrumptious.
My wife had fish, plantains, pikliz (perfectly spicy) with beans and rice. I had the same but with chicken. It was so fantastic and we're just so happy to now have Haitian food whenever we're willing to take a little drive up North to the Tukwila-South Center Mall area. Thank you Juju for bringing a little bit of home cooking to WA for meā¤ļø For those interested in trying a true Haitian delicacy try some GRIO (look...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis one star is not for the food, but for lack of quality in terms of how they handle their business. Like yo, as a customer. I should never.hear. That it will take three hours for my food to be ready. I donāt care if my Haitian mother (god rest her soul) came down from the heavens above and cooked for me, I aināt waitinā three hours for no food!
Thatās just bad business, I donāt care that itās made from scratch, neither will the rest of business or customers when hearing that their food has to be ācalled inā, in advance in order to be made. And look, that aināt the problem. Itās that you donāt know that this is a process until you call them so if you wanted food right away, This establishment will continue to not be an option, which sucks because itās Haitian food, a Haitian/Caribbean business - but it just disses how a real east coast Haitian restaurant like (I.e, not waitin 3 hours for your food,...

We'll definitely try to make it back for a...
