It looks like the motel may have a new owner so I will describe my stay over a year ago. I came here to wait for an apartment that I rented to be ready. There were drug addicts knocking insistently at all hours of the day. I had to write a Do Not Disturb sign that read: "I don't know you and don't want to know you. Nobody that you know lives here. Go away." There was a homeless guy who looked like blonde Jesus on meth lived inside the dumpster. I felt creeped out every time I took the trash out for this reason. Rent prices were off the roof for a drug and mold infested slum. All the luggage that I kept and used for years was ruined by mold here. Some of my nice clothes and shoes were ruined. The sink was falling apart. Carpet was in disrepair and reeked of old and cigarette smoke. There was a sign somewhere showing the sex workers bad dates as a warning to their colleagues. Staff or owners broke the 4th amendment constantly and abused those they perceived as weak. When confronted with this they became angry and violent. Respecting American laws apparently did not apply to these people as they were businesspeople. They were sexists and racists.
The neighborhood was just dreary with run down looking streetwalkers with bruises and welts all over their bodies, hopeless looking substance abusers, some Asian businesses which perpetuated this type of destruction in the name of money and some American businesses showing signs of a slow death or stagnation such as Rite Aid and Dollar Tree among others.

Read moreWe searched up and down Aurora Ave. north for half an hour and finally gave up. I decided to park and ask around a very seedy neighborhood if that Seattle Inn even existed. Finally, I asked a fellow at a motel called Seal Inn if he knew of such a place and he told me that this was the Seattle Inn and that the new owners had not gotten around to changing the name from Seattle Inn to Seal Inn with all the hotel booking services. He insisted that we give him our credit card for security reasons before he would allow us to review the rooms. The room key for number 24 did not open the room and upon looking through the window, I saw the room was not cleaned, bed not made and smelled of cigarettes. We informed the guy at the desk, Jimmy, that we could not stay at this motel and asked that he not charge our credit card and he said he would not. As it turns out, he did charge our credit card $106 and we feel totally ripped off. As with the other review, this place was horrible with all sorts of seedy people hanging around as well as a marijuana dispensary next door. FOLKS, DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE, IT'S FALSELY ADVERTISED AS THE SEATTLE INN NORTH AND IS NOIT WHAT...
Read morei thought (unfortunately) that for just one night this place would be safe and clean "enough" for an out of town guest to stay in and that this person would be alright "enough" just for one night.how bad could it be right ?||||well, that was a complete mistake.even though this place is listen in/on multiple booking sites such as expedia and tripadvisor and booking dot com you don't wanna come here at all i am serious.||||there was a guy in the parking lot in his ? car watching people weirdly and people wandering into the parking lot acting somewhat deranged or unstable.there were "characters" hanging around the motel area and grounds.||||the room was not clean and though the photos on the booking sites appear to show an at least basically satisfactory room the room which was received was completely unsatisfactory.||||there was yelling in the night and so based upon all the above i had to move the guest to a different establishment based on common sense for safety and cleanliness.||||i recommend not booking this...
