I called in here one day before making the drive to this stand just to make sure they carried what I was craving. (Idk what is up with Seattle’s coffee shops but none of them carry white coffee… weirdest thing ever considering we’re like the Coffee Capital?)
First of all, they did have white coffee. Bless you KJs.
Another thing they carry? spiced chai in powder form. The best for blended drinks IMO. I like my drinks THICK not melted as soon as they hand it to me so this was perfect.
I literally drive out of my way almost everyday now just to come here on my way to downtown.
KJs is dream come true for me, convenient location, quick and accurate service. I’ve never gotten a bland or watery drink here ever and the employees always try to love on my pup.
I’m not one to expect everyone to be super nice and chatty with me, I actually don’t prefer it as it can be overwhelming for both parties sometimes. But being somewhat cordial is to be expected… right?
My only reason for the 4 stars here instead of 5 is one barista there in particular who is starting to make the experience here a bit bitter each time I’ve encountered them specifically. (Not sure if her name, I could describe what she looks like here, but I won’t do that)
Idk if it’s just me she isn’t a fan of since she SEEMS to be super patient and “sweet” with other customers? Which again is fine, it’s only a transaction, but each time I see her it’s like I’m an inconvenience or wasting her time. (My drink is literally the same every time and I always tip) Maybe she’s just happened to have a stressful morning EVERY time she’s served me? Idk.
If the coffee here wasn’t slappin I don’t think I could keep coming. She’s kind of a vibe kill… especially in the morning.
Honestly I would’ve given 3 stars cause I’m petty, but the other employees here are TOP NOTCH.
Especially the girl with LONG blonde hair (NOT the short haired blonde) usually wavy I think? She is consistent in everything she does and the reason I keep coming back. I honestly think she might be “KJ” but I could just be...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible. The woman who helped serve me with dark curly hair and glasses spent over 6 minutes chatting and laughing while she made a man a triple shot 12 oz mocha. She was talking to him about his tattoo and telling him to come back and show her later on, it went on and on. Meanwhile I was waiting very patiently and she only briefly checked in one time saying she'd be right with me and then proceeded to ignore me for over 5 minutes. I know because I was timing it considering I have two little kids waiting on me. When it was my turn she spent no more than 60 seconds preparing my coffee very quickly and then finally asked me if I wanted espresso beans on top. I told her I didn't want anything from her and I thought it was extremely rude that she was having a very friendly conversation with somebody and completely ignored me. I'm having a very rough time as it is and this was my very first time at this coffee shop. I am never going back here ever again. I've never been treated so rudely before from a barista. It's very disappointing because I'm looking for a new place to go for my daily coffee and I thought this place would be amazing because they sell white coffee, but no amount of delicious drinks could make me tolerate some sexist and rude treatment. Just because I'm not a cute boy doesn't mean that I deserve to get ignored. She just assumes that I'm not going to tip because I'm a woman. Well I'm not ever going to tip her because I'm never going back...
Read moreI was looking for a nearby coffee shop for a hot Carmel macchiato. It was super close with some great reviews… “best cup of coffee I’ve ever had.” I was super happy they had a drive through because parking gives me so much anxiety in Seattle. Thank you for that! It really was one of the best Carmel macchiatos I’ve ever had. It wasn’t on the menu so I was a little nervous to find out what I would get but it was literally perfect. I have to be honest my favorite part was the 2 (not 1, not zero) 2 beautiful chocolate coffee beans on top. This sealed the deal for me, one was like white chocolate/milk chocolate polka dot and the other was plain chocolate. Omg they were literally the best chocolate covered coffee beans I’ve ever had. I came back the very next day for round 2, only got 1 chocolate covered coffee bean this time (I’ll take what I can get.) I would love if I got 2 on top every single time. I will be coming here much more often. I work as a hospice nurse and I’m always driving around the area, so happy to have found this little gem of a place!! Friendly staff too. But really thank you for the drive through and the coffee beans. It really made my day and gave me a much needed smile and uplifted me in all the...
