Went for an early valentine's date with my wife. When we arrived there was no one else there, quick friendly service but the lights are very very bright, we each ordered a cocktail, then got the green beans and the Brussels sprouts, the egg roll salad, and the chicken sandwich.

Cocktails were very good 5/5 Green Beans were 2/5 too sweet and syrupy The Brussels sprouts on top were good with the fried shallots but then the rest of the bowl was drenched in sauce, very hard to eat after the first few 3/5 I actually liked the egg roll salad but my wife wasn't a fan, it felt like random things tossed together but it was large and i personally liked the flavors 4/5 The Chicken sandwich was pretty good but the fries it came with were perfect 4/5

Overall the food was about a 3/5, cocktails 5/5, but then when we were done our server was no where to be found, so we waited, finally i waved him down after 20ish minutes after we had finished, he brought the machine over our bill with tip was $113 so fairly pricey for what it was IMO, we asked for a couple boxes and he said sure thing, left the credit card machine with me to finish and disappeared again, then about 15 minutes later he reappeared and started walking toward us with another credit card machine, then turned around grabbed boxes and dropped them at our table.

Needless to say it was pretty disappointing to have to wait 40 minutes to get out after we were...

Yep! Kuma Kitchen is the place to be...We had the most incredible dinner last night at Kuma Kitchen in the Georgetown District, and we’re still talking about it today.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and seen. The waiter Vu took our dietary restrictions seriously without a hint of hesitation, and we were blown away by the quality and creativity of the food. It was clean, vibrant, and satisfying without feeling heavy. A perfect balance we’ve struggled to find elsewhere.

We sat outside in the front with our 10-month-old puppy, Birdie, and the ambiance was nothing short of perfect. Georgetown is such a charming little pocket of Seattle, peaceful, low traffic, and full of character. Sitting under the lights, enjoying our meal while Birdie basked in the evening air, felt like something out of a movie.

The decor inside is absolutely stunning. Thoughtful, modern, and cozy, with just the right touch of sophistication. You can tell that every detail, from the plating of the food to the aesthetics of the space, is treated with intention and care.

We already know we’ll be back...often. Kuma Kitchen is more than a restaurant; it’s an experience. The care, the quality, the hospitality, it all goes above and beyond. We feel so lucky to have found it and can’t wait to make it a regular part of our lives.

If you’re reading this and wondering whether to go, just go. You won’t regret...

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Every dish was bursting with unique flavors and showcased a fresh take on classic Vietnamese cuisine. Here’s what I tried:

Umami Fish Sauce Fries: These were phenomenal! Perfectly crispy with a savory, tangy kick from the fish sauce that made them seriously addictive.

Banh Mi Smash Burger: A brilliant fusion of flavors. The juicy smash burger paired perfectly with pickled veggies and fresh herbs – it felt like I was having a Banh Mi but in burger form!

Fried Calamari: Lightly battered, super tender, and served with a dipping sauce that added the perfect touch of flavor without overpowering the dish. Some of the best calamari I’ve had in a long time.

Bo Kho Tacos: A creative twist on the traditional Vietnamese beef stew! The tender, flavorful beef was perfectly complemented by the soft taco shell – a great blend of textures and flavors.

Overall, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the service was friendly and attentive. If you’re craving something different, this place is a must-try. The fusion concept here is spot on, and every dish feels thoughtfully crafted. I’ll definitely be back!

The fries and the pineapple rice was good! The drinks were ok. We Had the strawberry and mango ! And the creamy udon is not the usual Asian dish not a fan but the garlic spaghetti was not bad , super light taste .

We took a friend here for her birthday and it was absolutely delightful. I've been in bar service for years and their drinks are creative and well balanced and fun. No notes. The food had a couple fusion options. I had a ban mi smash burger which was 10/10 on flavor. They put bahn mi meat on top of the burger which tastes good but did make biting it a little difficult. That could use some mild editing. My friend got pho-rench dip and loves it. The broth was so good she was even sipping on it. Other friend got peanut noodle salad, said the flavor was so good, peanut sauce thinned to make dressing. Crunchy in all the right ways. Very filling. We brought a child, the restaurant had high chairs and were thoughtful in how they set things down etc around our toddler. I would not say it's necessarily family friendly. But if you have a kid who knows how to vibe, it totally works.
