Main Street Gyros — Restaurant in Seattle

The man that works Sunday 2/07/21 was very rude and stand-offish. When I walked in I ordered the GYRO FRIES W/ veggies on it (lettuce,tomato,onion) he made my order and I noticed he didn’t have the veggies so I nicely asked if he could put them on there he then told me that there was no room in the container for the veggies which I saw was the case I then asked can you put them on the side since they can’t fit in the container, he then tried to charge me 6$ for a side of veggies just cause they didn’t fit in the container. I then asked him why is he charging me for the veggies just cause they couldn’t fit and he just kept repeating himself that there’s no room, at that point I just grabbed my food and walked out highly upset. This place has great food and fast friendly service.I have been eating here for over 9 year and I still love it. I have eaten greek food from East to West coast and this place is a definite favorite! Decent proportions for a reasonable price. No microwaves here - everything is fresh. You will see them slicing and dicing and cooking all throughout the day. The most important thing though is that the flavor of the gyros is right. They do not just slice the meat after roasting it, they actually cook and season the meat after roasting as well. The guys here are fun and friendly and if you want more of something ,just let them know and its not a problem. This is a place worth going to. I suggest you try pickles & feta cheese with your falafel...

I was feeling a mite peckish and since I live a scant 2 blocks away, I opted to giving the Main St Gyros a try. I'm covering their daily special, the lamb, beef gyro, with Greek fries and a drink. Here's the break down..... The meat was flavorful, tender and moist. In a word ... Tasty. The romaine lettuce was crisp and bright. The tanziki sauce was creamy and well seasoned. Now the Greek fries. Ok these got a wow outta me. The fries were GBD (Golden, brown and delicious) the fete cheese and sauce they applied were spot on. And what can you say about Pepsi that hadn't been said before. All in all for $10.99 it was a great deal especially when one considers that I couldn't eat it all. I eat there again? Yes would I recommend it...
