Their recent free petting zoo event was not very well executed and I worried about the animals. It was one small pen with baby goats, ducks, and bunnies all together (they also said on instagram that there were going to be pigs, not sure what happened there. Combined with how many kids they were letting in at a time, there really wasn’t a lot of room for them. They had to endure getting very aggressively pet by all the kids, which I think could’ve been prevented by closer supervision. The person that seemed to be monitoring the pen wasn’t very involved. Kids were literally shaking the cage and no one was telling them to stop. It bothered me a lot to see that.

There didn’t seem to be any attempt at making guests form a line either, it was kind of just a disorganized free-for-all. It was so busy and they didn’t seem to be monitoring for capacity at all. I understand this was a free event, but I think that it could’ve been better executed and I think the comfort of the animals should’ve been prioritized. This was my first time at this bar and it didn’t leave a very good impression, so I don’t think I’ll be...

My neighborhood spot for brews that don’t disappoint and different food trucks daily, what more could you ask for ? Been coming here regularly but slowed down during the winter months, cause yaknow... Seattle winters.

Very few parking spaces in the front of the bar (tiny lot facing the street Delridge), but plenty in back entrance. You’ll have to drive into the small business park behind the bar and the corner store, then turn into the lot on your right and go towards the back entrance of Ounces. There will be a short flight of stairs, but worth it if you came by car.

Friendly staff and they always give the best recommendations. They’ve kept the space sanitized and organized during COVID, which I’m sure a lot of folks appreciate. Keep up the awesome variety of beers, y’all...

Ok for kids. For adults - run.

Pretty good place! Love that it’s hyper local and has a great rotation of food trucks and more importantly DOGS. :) the beer is pricey though and there are tons of loud kids.

I left this review years ago and will update it to say there are currently more kids than adults so it is definitely a play space vibe. Lowers my vote by a full star. I am looking to get away from kids. 🤣 it’s like McDonald’s in here. You will be out numbered by kids. So if you have kids and want to be those parents, go for it. For everyone else, steer clear. We had to leave it just got to be way too much.

and the permanent food is not great. Especially for vegetarian. I really miss the rotating food trucks. That was always a lot of fun...

Been enjoying ounces since they opened and am ashamed to only now write a review. The owners are friendly and keep the place updated- over eight years we’ve been there probably 60-70 times. I always find a fresh Pilsner on tap and non drinkers can enjoy root beer or kambucha. Also they’ve recently added a burger stand which had amazing burgers, fried chicken sandwiches and fries. We’ve attended many events there (Oktoberfest, Santa) and they are always free and fun. I also held my daughter’s first birthday there and they went above and beyond making it a hit. I hope they expand to more locations!

We’ve lived about 10 minutes (on foot) away from Ounces for four years. These folks are amazing. Snowmageddon?! They’re open. Hailstorm? They’re open. Summer nights, absolutely open. I’m a picky beer drinker, I stick to true sours and usually indulge in their dry ciders as a replacement. We came in, I asked for a recommendation based on my palate and the bartender was wonderfully honest and said that there wasn’t a sour or alternative on the menu in the cider section. I ended up with a delightful Hefeweizen and will always appreciate their honesty and accommodation.

Ounces is my new favorite place! Excellent service and indoor/outdoor heated space you an enjoy year round. Fantastic selection of local beers, ciders, and kombuchas to sample. Rotating food trucks and very easy location for anyone from west Seattle, or coming across our lovely bridge. Plus, woman-owned and generous with donations to the community and causes. I’d highly recommend reaching out to them for any events or celebrations!
