The baristas and cashier really saved this visit for me. Our barista was very nice and I felt like the service was great. It was very cozy with just one barista and one checker and they were working together very well and created a very welcoming environment. We spent $37 to purchas two turkey pesto sandwhiches, a 16oz iced matcha with lavendar agave and a 16oz iced cardamom pistachio latte, the matcha was fun and fairly nice, but a little too sweet. The latte was kind of terrible actually. Very bitter, very much a savory drink Wich may just have been a personal preference but both of us found we did not like that the cardamom latte also had a bunch of cardamom floating at the bottom so you have to position your straw in the middle of the cup to avoid a mouthful of spice and chunks

Nice place to stop by on our walks thru Mt.Baker. Hours are great & it's dog-friendly. Coffee base is South American with an acidic finish. (Take an acid-reducer tab if you have reflux challenges.) The people that work are upbeat & helpful. Pro Tip: You have a sweet-tooth, get the salted caramel latté. It's pretty much joy in a cup. Get the double cup since cups can leak at times. Dog lovers: Your fur baby is welcome here! They have dog biscuits & a water bowl. Midas 5-stars - for the friendly service & dog-friendly atmosphere.

Q.E.D. (acronym for Latin phrase "quod erat demonstrandum" which is typically found at the end of a mathematics or philosophy problem and loosely means in English - this completes the proof or to show that something is proven) is a local neighborhood cafe offering espresso beverages, tea, hot chocolate, breakfast sandwiches, muffins, scones, etc.; service was not cordial to me for some reason but friendly to others; support your local small businesses 👍

Didn’t love the latte I had here… I bought a small cardamom pistachio latte, and it tasted like acid sludge with a hint of cardamom. I think they sprinkled pistachio on it, which only made it feel like I was drinking pure coffee grounds. It was $6 for the small. Now, I think the most insulting thing about this drink was the lack of creativity. I felt like there could be better, more interesting iterations of this drink. I assumed this would basically be a “Dirty Badam Milk” kind of thing, and I hope to see it lean more in that direction in the future. If you’re going to use another culture’s common spices, please make sure it at least tastes good.

Otherwise, the service was nice and the place looked modern. One of the baristas was crouched behind a bush smoking a cigarette when I showed up, which… ok whatever (EDIT: I only mention it because it was kinda funny lol). I want to know what their non-seasonal lattes are like, maybe they would be more my speed.

EDIT: Bringing this up to four stars after going back and trying their Vanilla latte. MUCH better than the other latte I had, not bitter and not too sweet. Definitely would...

Came in today. First there was a sign on the door that the shop was locked while the worker was using the bathroom that they changed to staff only. He was undoing the sign as I came in. I bought a wrap that I intended to eat inside and use the internet as I had 30 minutes before my appointment at the gym next door. The guy says you get a bag of chips with your sandwich that you can get while leaving. I sit down to eat my wrap and the guy immediately goes to the front door to prop it open. I then asked him what the wifi code was and he said they they weren't giving out the code. Now this is 27 months into something that is an Endemic and they have indoor seating open. I find this utterly ridiculous. I sometimes get things there because I work out with a trainer at the gym, but I will never be back. I'm not going to give money when I don't...
