Nice park. Ample space for kids to play. Great place to walk, jog or bike. Walked through a tunnel here that joins the I90 walkway (pedestrian trail)The view is breathtaking on a clear day. Never get a chance to soak in the view while driving on this road. This park is worth a visit just to experience walking this pedestrian trail. Lots of free parking options are available near king Martin Luther Jr street and other roads very close to this park. It is very very windy on the trail. Might help carrying a...

I love this park! Playground is brand new, tennis courts not terribly busy, large swaths of grass for frisbee/baseball/tag/etc, philosophers walk/trail is great and the view after the tunnel is just gorgeous. Good place to bike (leads into I-90 which has a great isolated biking path, if a little windy), skate (skate park is close if you just head Northwestish), run, or just go for a walk. Plus the tunnel has all of the old murals (and also a good amount of...

Sam Smith Park includes a nice playground for children and two tennis courts. The playground isn't one of the best that Seattle has to offer but is a local gathering place for neighborhood families. The park connects to the Mountains to Sound bicycle trail and is a short walk through the I-90 bicycle tunnel to the East-face viewpoint over Lake Washington, the floating bridge, and on clear days the Cascades and...

08/12/23: what a hidden gem in the urban area! This park’s east side connects to Jimi Hendrix Park and its left side connects to a tunnel. The park is so gorgeous with tons of playgrounds, playfield and picnic areas. I see many locals biking, running, and walking their dogs frequently here. I enjoyed the peaceful and calm vibe. There are two tennis fields nearby FYI. I highly suggest this awesome park to anyone

Great park for diverse activities and all ages! Public exercise equipment, tennis courts, sitting areas and beautiful trees in the fall. The architecture of the viewpoint at the end is incredibly good for photos and a tourist stop that's looking to get some directly coastal air. Do yourself a favor, go through the tunnel and check out the massive blackberry patches to the side of the viewpoint.
