It takes a lot to get me to write a review, but these carne asada fries were worth every word.

Aurora Avenue isn’t exactly known for being a culinary hotspot—it’s a little sketchy, to be honest. But sometimes, the best food comes from the most unexpected places. This spot is one of those hidden gems.

I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical. After picking up my order, it took me about 30 minutes before I could finally dig in. Anyone who’s had carne asada fries knows they’re best when fresh, and I thought for sure they’d be a letdown by the time I got to them. But to my surprise, when I took that first bite, the fries were still perfectly soft and warm, the carne asada was tender and juicy, and the flavor—wow. It was unlike anything I’ve had in Washington.

I have friends in California who always rave about how much better their carne asada fries are compared to anything we have up here. They could never quite explain what made them so special, but now I get it. The seasoning, the tenderness of the meat, the balance of flavors—this place has truly nailed it.

If you’re in the area, don’t pass this spot up. It may not be fancy, but the food is absolutely worth it. You won’t regret it.

Extremely friendly staff that will take time when they can to socialize with customers. Furthermore, you are without a doubt to be filled with amazing food that taste of quality. Don’t let the quality make you worry about price of the food because the price continues to stay more than reasonable. I ordered the the carne asada fries for around 11 dollars and they give me enough food to fill two people. The only downside is you’re likely to over fill your self, Will definitely be going here more in the future and I’m exited to try more amazing food...

This is a family owned legit spot. They have a truck outside and storefront with seating to enjoy their food. I’ve had camarones quesadillas, and tacos from here. I’ve been thinking about them for days afterwards. The tortillas here are some of the best! They make the quesadillas and tacos awesome. Some places just make food subtly different from others, and those small changes or difference just make them special. This family is like that, they have great recipes made well with care and love.
