When Taco Bell employees close at 2am and I called at 1:30am, more than 3 times, they declined the calls repeatedly. Answered and hung up or answered and let the line played for 10 to 30 seconds then hung up about 5 times. Then I drove for orders from the Space Needle area to 1st Ave to Ballard Taco Bell. They verify one of the orders for pick up. When I pulled in line at 1:45am, mind you it's still 15 minutes before closing. They ignored me at the intercom for 5 minutes, then they shut of the lights on the outside perimeter of the building. On top of that you got customers that agree that you should have had their orders ready because they placed it before 2am, they placed it before 1:35am.
Any of the Taco Bells I've been to in Tukwila, Burien, SeaTac, Des Moines, to Kent area, all of the ones that close at 2am serve their customers in line until 1:59am. All of the ones that close at 3am serve their customers in line until 2:59am. This is the most unprofessional and undesirable customer service. I'm sure the Taco Bell employees that were working last night would make management proud that they took importance to getting home 15 minutes earlier by closing before their actual closing time. When I was in the line they ignored me, shut the building perimeter light, then a girl came on the intercom and said I'm sorry we're closed, it was 1:45am to 1:48am, no you we're closed but because you had some lazy employees that wanted to go home a bit earlier, they acted like they were closed, your establishment closes officially at 2am like some of the other Taco Bells.
I'm so unhappy with the terrible customer service and on top of that the lady said I'm sorry we're not getting our online delivery platform orders, there was something wrong with the system. That was another lie, just like how they shut off the perimeter lights, they shut off the tablets that have the app that received orders, because they did not want to serve any more customers to make any more orders. After that the girl said I'm sorry we're closed I'm taking off my headset now, bye. None of the employees that worked there last night understand that they work at a establishment that is based around customer service and fulfilling orders till 2am. Management needs to reevaluate the process of how employees are trained to do their job, not till they feel tired and want to...
Read moreSo, I'm a bit annoyed, obviously. I'm just gonna preface this by saying Jorge is not my name, it's my boyfriend's name. He's Latino, and he pronounces it "hor-hey", so I do too. I went up to the counter and said "Order for Jorge" and he asked "with a J?" Which is a pretty common question I get in response. So I said Yeah. Then he asked "how do you get an H sound from a J and a G?" In kind of a mean tone, I was caught off guard so I just said I don't know. Then he laughed and said have a good day sir. I just thought that was kinda weird, I'm assuming that he thought I was cultural appropriating or something because I'm very obviously white and he thought it was my name. It just made me feel bad but I didn't really think anything of it until I got home. So I ordered only one drink, and I didn't realize until I spilled it everywhere that the lid wasn't on all the way. This is unrelated to the guy obviously, just a weird coincidence. It definitely wasn't me, because when I looked in the bag, the bottom of it was all wet from walking home with the lid not on. So that was pretty annoying. And now I wish I just made dinner at home. Idk is it a common thing to ask people that? Like he was probably just trying to be nice but it just annoyed me. Plus the drink thing and now I'm really annoyed. Not to say I won't go there again but danm guys come on. Oh and another thing, they always forget to put straws in the bag, like I always pre-emptivly put a straw in the bag but this time (a long with many others) there wasn't already one. Good thing I planned ahead for that, I probably gotta start pressing on the lids too, and stop using his...
Read moreWhen Taco Bell came out with their Decades Menu, I'd been looking at trying it for a while It wasn't until a few days before it ended that I decided to get it delivered. Since the one in Queen Anne closer to my house for some reason didn't have the Caramel Apple Empanada, I got the delivery from this location The things that I ordered were the Tostada, Gordita Supreme, Meximelt, and Caramel Apple Empanada
The tostada was fine - it's a bit like a worse Mexican pizza. I'm sure it's better when its fresh, but being delivered makes it lose any of the crunchiness that it had originally. I also didn't really like the Gordita supreme as it was incredibly small and mostly vegetables with very little beef. When I saw it I thought it was a cheesy rollup at first
The Meximelt was a good amount better. It was the food where I actually got a good amount of beef, and the melted cheese really added to this My favorite of the four has to be the Caramel Apple Empanada. This is my first time having one - and it's really good. The crunch on the outside is highly impressive, similar to a real empanada. I'm not a huge fan of apples, but the inside manages to be fantastic as well. It's mostly caramel flavoring with some apple pieces but manages to balance both flavors well without being too sweet
Overall, there are less expensive things at Taco bell, but this was fun to try. Please keep the Caramel Apple Empanada on...
