I can't believe I'm writing one of the reviews, but the more I think about it..I shouldn't let it go, I was furious at the time. I had been living in Spain for 9 months. My brother and his wife picked me up at the airport last Thursday, July 10th. Before heading back to his place we stopped for a beer at The Beer Junction. They went next door and grabbed some slices of pizza and asked me what I wanted to eat. The said they could drive me anywhere, within reason, to grab something to go, as I had been out of the States for months. I told I had a real craving for Taco Time after someone had mentioned it (it was between that or Dick's...looks like I picked the wrong one). We arrived just before the closing time of the lobby. The drive through was pretty long and I had to use the restroom so I decided to order in the lobby and get it to go. The waited in the parking lot for me. I hadn't been to Taco Time in ages so it was going to take me a second to order. Just after I walked in, the guy at the counter told me he was locking the front door and I would have to exit the lobby from a different door. No problem. I am still looking at the menu and he is standing there giving me a real impatient vibe. I asked a couple questions and was feeling rushed. I remember I asked about the the a couple mini soft tacos and he talked me into the regular sized one (I remembered them being pretty generous in size, so I went with it). I also ordered a crisp chicken burrito. All to go. The wait wasn't too long for the food, so no complaint about that. Got the food and drove 10 or 15 minutes back to his place. Pulled out the food. The crisp burrito was definitely not hot enough...but the soft taco was ridiculous. It was 80 to 90 percent lettuce. $7.50 for a lettuce soft taco. I guess normally I might just shake it off...but it being the first the first thing I ate after coming back was a super downer. My brother and SIL felt really bad and whipped me up a little dish, as the Taco Time was a piddly meal, especially...

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience at this particular taco time. Food was fine. Service seemed average. As we walked out of the building, I realized my wallet wasn’t with me. We checked the car, but I was certain I carried it inside with me. My boyfriend ran inside and asked the counter staff if anything had been turned in. They said no. He then searched the store... Our table, the restrooms, the trash, etc. He asked the manager if he could watch the security videos, who told him sure, then immediately changed his mind and said no, he had to leave. On his way out of the building to let me know what happened, he ran into another employee on a smoke break. He asked her if she had seen anyone with a wallet, and she said, "Yes! We had one turned in a couple minutes ago!" He brought her inside to the manager and the manager told the employee she was mistaken. Why would he tell her she was wrong? The girl was positive it was turned in.

I am not saying the staff took the wallet. But I am saying there is some shady, lying business happening here. I spent the afternoon on the phone with my credit card companies. Indeed, one card had been pinged for 160+ dollars at a gas station right around the corner. Interesting.

I would never return here. I would never suggest for someone to visit this location. I am appaled by the service I received from these employees. This is EXACTLY why fast food restaurants...

It’s Taco Time… Eventually….

Do not go here unless you have dedicated 45 minutes to sit in the drive thru line. I should have packed a lunch for this adventure.

Secondly, the drive thru is surrounded by a concrete wall and trees so once you’re in line, you’re not getting off this ride until it’s over.

They don’t take cash but I honestly don’t blame them since they’ve been robbed so many times lol. Just something else to keep in mind.

Food is “meh” but it is called “Taco Time” so I guess I only have myself to blame there. It’s obvious this place is incredibly understaffed and the poor employees are doing their best.

Moral of the story, this place kind of sucks. There are several amazing taco trucks in West Seattle, do yourself a favor and find one if you’re craving...

Taco Time... West Seattle location My favorite all-time fast food the Taco Time 'Crisp Chicken Burrito'... Been ordering this for -years'! Absolutely delicious every time. Perfectly complimented with the Taco Time Hot Sauce... (Spicier than most) I ordered the meal with mexi-nuggets. This was a Snow Day... this location is on like an island ...on Avalon Way. Perfect location in a busy area. The Crisp Chicken Burrito' is king- nothing better in the Fast Food world... If you like taste and a bit of spice this is for you. Highly approve... 😊

Kitchen visible with questionable cleaning, tons of fried food, the soft taco tortilla was colder than your ex’s heart and the pinto beans were not seasoned at all, rice can be avoided and you won’t notice. The crisp chicken burrito was OK. Also very weird experience walking in and not having any human interaction at all, just a couple of screens to enter your order and no customer service at all.
