We dropped by for dinner after browsing their online menu from their website, we were surprised that they had entrees for about ten dollars, well they actually didn’t, entrees were about $15 which is inline with other restaurants. I suppose the prices on the website are dated, I’m including photos of the menu so that you know what to expect. We got four entrees. What I highly recommend is the crispy garlic chicken, if this was the only entree I had I would have given it five stars! The chicken was crispy and moist inside, delicious and a generous portion. The other three meals were not even close. The lo mein was the second favorite, with a huge gap, it was alright, the beef was chewy, not soft. I found the sweet and sour chicken disappointing, it wasn’t crispy and there was too much sauce for my liking. Finally the garlic delight was not good, we did not finish it, a bit too salty and overpowered with garlic. Rice is extra. I noticed that they have lunch combo deals. Service was good and the restaurant has several tables for dinning in, but they were more busy with takeout orders, probably the delicious crispy garlic chicken.

Young's is a well loved, family-owned greasy spoon in the neighborhood. They have a classic diner style menu and good ol' American-Chinese food. A meal at Young's is a true White Center experience. For long-time Seattle folk, it's like the White Center version of the Silver Fork on Rainier ave. It's great for a post-church meal with family or a hangover brunch with friends. A few things they do exceptionally well here: - Hashbrowns: They're crispy and light. I don't know how they do it. - Belgian Waffle: A popular item here. - Variety: Very large menu. Pancakes, BLT's, mongolian beef, french dip. It goes on and on. - Service: It's ran by the nicest, most dedicated family. Janice is low White Center's unsung hero.

finally had the chance to check out youngs. came here on a weekday for lunch and the place was not busy at all. the staff was super accomodating and friendly to me and my daughter in a stroller. they even brought her a special mickey mouse pancake which she loved. i tried the lunch kung pao chicken of course. overall the kung pao was good. chicken was cut right in small cubes, the sauce was tasty and not over board on the vegtables. only issues was that there was no spicy edge to the kung pao. needed some red peppers to spice it up. the wonton soup was fire!!! overall everythig was good and will be looking forward to coming back to try other menu options. great local eatery..

I'm ready to return for a non-breakfast meal. It was certainly worth trying their breakfast. My two eggs, two sausage links, and side of hash browns were beautifully and perfectly cooked. However the 'inside' of the hashbrowns had a texture of what almost seemed to be mashed potatoes. The sourdough toast was not the least bit crisp and it was way too cooled off. Surely, I could have asked for better toast, but ... for whatever reason I was too self-conscious. Heck, the server came back to ask if everything was all right, and I said "yes" every time. ... If 3.5 stars were an option, I'd score it that way, but ... they get 4 starts for the food. The atmosphere was a bit rough but it was the first rainy and cool day in a long time and the HVAC was still trying to adjust. It felt a bit steamy in here. I'd been meaning to have breakfast with a group at Young's for a long time, and I'm glad that I did....

Young’s is nothing short of AMAZING! My partner and myself started coming here last week after we moved to the neighborhood and will continue to come! The customer service is top notch, and it is locally owned and operated. Everyone is so friendly and they provide great table service. Janice is amazing and so is the entire staff that works there!

They have both American food and Chinese food as well as an awesome brunch menu. The concept of American and Chinese food together threw me off, but God their breakfast and brunch is AMAZING and served all day!

I have had both the biscuits and gravy with ham and the grilled cheese with ham and they both taste amazing. Young’s has very superior quality when it comes to their food. I highly recommend these dishes and will be trying others.

We will definitely be coming back. Young’s is a staple in the White Center...
