Great food, sincerely bad attitude from the owner.
Walk in, up to the counter to order. “Are you dining in?” “Yes”. In a chippy manner: “sit down and I will take your order”. No big deal. No one is nice 24/7. No menu is brought to me, so I have to attempt to read the menu board from my seat, because I was sharply told to sit down. The owner, who said she would promptly take my order, sat playing with her phone for 8 minutes. I’m staring at everyone with a “can someone help me please?” Look, yet no one comes to help. The owner finally gets off her phone, goes to help another customer and says from across the room “are you ready?” “Yes, I’ve been ready. You told me to sit down and you would take my order”. No apology, just a shrug and speaking to the customers she was helping instead of me in Spanish and giggling. Another lady takes my order, and I complain about the girl being on her phone for ten minutes after saying she’d take my order. Again, no apology. Just a blank stare.
At the end I drop 4$ in the tip jar and calmly say “definitely not worth this, but I’m not that kind of person” to which the owner took offense. Told me to not come back again if I was going to harass her staff. Still no apology. Only “mistakes happen sir”, which is an easy cop out to say “you’re the jerk, I refuse to admit wrong”. It wasn’t a mistake, you willfully ignored me then refused to apologize. Horrible service and attitude.

Somehow, 9 months later, they remember me? Nah. I wasn’t rude or disrespectful: I was not treated as a valued customer, I was BARELY treated like a customer at all.
So nice response! It’s not possible for your staff to be rude and terrible at their jobs, so you make up me disrespecting your staff as a legit reason to speak to me like that.

Read moreI’d like to start this off saying I’ve been here a few times with my family, and have never had an issue before. The staff is okay, the food is good, and the wait time- while sometimes longer than usual, is understandable given they’re a busy little place. However— this time, I don’t know who the male waiter is, I’ve never seen him before— but he came up with an attitude and threw the menus at us, barely greeted us, and then went to go serve a regular I assume, by the way he called his name out across the restaurant.
He spent a good amount of time talking to this in detail guy about every menu option, which, if it’s a regular he knows so well, I don’t know why he would feel the need to do that— and then when we spoke up that we’d ready to order, he said he’s busy helping the regular who could not make up his mind about what to get. He told us if we’re in a hurry we should have called ahead on the phone and rolled his eyes and came over— but at that point, I’d lost my appetite.
Rude service, even though the food is good, I definitely am not coming...
