Wow. I was blown away by our experience at La Reggia. If I could give it 1,000 stars, I would. The food was flavor bursts and melting in your mouth divine and the service was par excellence. We had my daughter's First Holy Communion Celebration here and everything was incredible. We chose the family style service, which has the starter round of appetizers, pasta course, main entrées, and dessert with coffee/tea. The appetizers alone are more than plentiful to provide everything you need and were exceedingly delicious. You could easily have stopped there. Then, follow that with the perfectly al dente pasta, bursting with goodness sauce, silky and perfectly/ exquisitely done entrées, and you have yourself the most goodness you can have in a meal. Top it all off with the best cake you have ever had this side of the world, and my mouth is still watering and craving yesterday's eats. Our guests (and myself, of course) raved about every dish that came out, every course, every morsel, and it was an experience to be had. They also provided pizzas and chicken with fries for the children upon request, which were delicious too! I would never hesitate to come back and to recommend this place. If we did not already have other plans, I would easily have come back today for their Mother's Day Brunch. They accommodated us fairly last minute (was I ever so lucky they even could!), and working with Nicole who made herself completely available delivered beautifully and on everything requested. We were in the restaurant and not one of the event rooms, but I would love to come back to the restaurant/venue and have them host other fabulous events of ours here or just frequent the restaurant for simply a meal. Easy parking onsite, which was extremely important to me/our party, and a gorgeous venue with an old school and classical Italian/European vibe with perfectly paired music piped in, this is the consummate place for your delectable delights and affairs. We were allowed to take all the time in the world and I had not even realized how long we had spent there once we wrapped, as time just seemed to float. Do pass Go and do collect and taste all the amazingness that is La Reggia! You will not want to miss it....
Read moreA high recommendation turned out to be a HUGE disappointment!!! My friend & I were excited to dine at La Reggia based on another friend’s recommendation and favorable reviews online. Instead, it was a complete disaster!!! By no stretch of the imagination should one call La Reggia “authentic” Italian cuisine!!! To make matters worse, it's one thing for the food to be just ok, but to have a staff that was shockingly rude is not acceptable!! We were looking forward to an early and peaceful dining experience at La Reggia – I was ready to give them the excuse that they just opened and the kitchen may still be prepping or perhaps the chef may have stepped away for a long smoke?? When we mentioned that the “melanzane ripiene” was cold, our waiter (Carlos) didn’t take back the entire plate – he decided to take “one” piece back to the kitchen!!!??? The cheese was very cold, and the beet salad with apples did not have the truffle oil. The “short rib pappardelle” that was his recommendation was tasteless, tough, and swimming in red sauce that looked like it came out of a can. To add fuel to the fire, Carlos decided to challenge us instead of trying to make our dining experience better! He and the “acting” manager were both rude and unprofessional!! We were hoping for a pleasant dining experience – instead, it turned out to be the WORST dining...
Read moreThis place was Ahhhhhmazing. It was beautifully set and a treat to look at. I would've loved to give them 5 stars because the staff was spot on as well. We had zero complaints about about not one person even the bathroom attendant was a pleasure. So why not 5? The food for lack of words, was TERRIBLE. I had a plate full of things and planned to fill my second plate to get all of the things my first plate couldn't fit but was turned off and didn't bother. I ate carrots and beets for dinner because EVERYTHING else was Bland, like BLAND, BLAND. For desert I ate pineapple and the chocolate fudge thingy was freezer burnt tasting and so was the rest. I mean these things looked truly appetizing but didn't past the test of actually being able to be consumed. We stayed at the hotel and we couldn't wait to get back to eat the food my fiance had cooked for later in the late evening for a smaller gathering and departure. I really wish the food would have met the grade because I wouldn't mind coming again or planning my own event here but because of that reason alone, I wouldn't spend the money or encourage anyone else to, just to serve this quality of inedibles to my guests. Go for it if you will NOT have them catering, for the space and the staff is it's saving grace and that I can assure you...
