I don’t know what happened to this place but it has gone downhill. I believe this subway got new ownership because seems like they fired all the previous employees and replaced them with middle aged men. This is stupid because they all seemed like they were in highschool, they need the job more. As well as they were much quicker, more efficient, better customer service, and overall a better experience. I used to come in almost every every other night because I work late and did not feel like cooking and order 3 footlongs for my family (new employees don’t seem to follow the family deal anymore) and the previous girls there were always so kind and friendly. There was a worker named Cassidy who had memorized my 3 footlong order and it wasn’t a simple order either and confirmed it with e every single time I came in before I even said anything. It took forever for the new workers to make my sandwiches and I was the only one in the store…and they still didn’t honor the family meal deal. I have come in on weekends with my family when there have been lines going to the door and there was always the same 3-4 girls there almost every sat & sun working their butts off. Didnt care for either if their attitudes, rude cut bith if us off as we asked for what we wanted on our sandwiches, squirted mayo and mustard half on and half off my husbands sandwich them just slapped it together cut it with stuff oozing onto the outside paper and smashed it down while wrapping it, all i asked for on mine was extra mayo oil and vinegar and she was huffing like i asked for the world. We won't be returning even though we have gone there multiple times and never had issues before. I will say that I was a former sandwich artist at subway and an assistant manager for 4 years with a total of 8 years experience and not once did I even consider behaving like that or putting a sandwich together that was anything but excellent. The stores i worked at were both very very busy alllll the time, and still, I never did what these two did. Read moreThis Subway has been decent over the last 15+ years I've been going there. With the last two visits within a month's span of time, it's easy to see the new ownership has a totally different focus.
The standard Subway sandwich has a certain amount of meat and vegetables - you can pretty much expect the same amount at any Subway you go to. At this one, since the new owners took over, expect to get half of what you are used to. If you order double anything, it's what you would get with the standard order. As a result, I ended up spending too much for what should have been 1/3 the price.
The new workers seem to all be family, none of them act like they care about the customers or that they want to be there. It used to be staffed with young people, now it's age 30s-40s men with bad attitudes.
The place looks unclean (it never did before) and you can no longer see the meat and cheese area behind/under the glass, which makes me wonder what's being hidden.
